Great for Parents visiting a Vandal

Posted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: Easy to find, very close to Uni of Idaho & town centre.
Cons: I'm not convinced that having a kitchenette in the room is beneficial. An extra blanket when the temperature drops below freezing would be good.
Location: Really good for visiting students at U of I as it is to all intents and purposes on the campus. Walking distance to U of I sports venues.
Rather on the basic side; but it's a motel not a hotel so set one's expectations accordingly.

Stayed one night between city travels. Great location outside of town and quiet for being on a busy street.

Good price but...

Posted Nov 7, 2014
Pros: Beds are good, free wifi, breakfast not too bad
Cons: Road construction has been going on for several years there and front desk clerk said it will be another year before it's done! Small bathroom.
We've stayed there 3 other times and the price is great, beds are fine, fair breakfast and the place is not too noisy. However, this time our room did not get cleaned. We left at noon and the cleaning person was only 3 doors down, so we assumed they would clean our room too - not! We got back at 9:30pm to find it had not been cleaned. I guess if they pass your room and you're not out yet - they don't come back to check!?!? Front desk person was nice, got us some clean towels and said they could give us a partial refund except that since we had booked it through Expedia - he could not do it and to contact the manager. Finally got a hold of the manager a week later who said he would give us a 25% discount next time we stayed there. I guess that's o.k. but we only go up to Seattle once a year and who knows if he'll be there then or even remember??? Oh well what can you do!

Not bad....

For the price...this hotel was great!! We had more spending money for Seattle. Parking downtown isn't fun, but we are happy with it. You get what you pay for. If you're expecting the Ritz, keep looking. But I would recommend it. Our friends paid almost double for their room at another hotel, and it was comparable to our room.

Not again..

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Location: It's very busy street .
It's like 60' interior, furniture, carpet, color. Shower curtain was not closing (curtain bar was broken, so I had to hold the curtain while taking shower ....) Breakfast room was so tiny and there was a big bottle of jam and peanut butter,( instead individual size) for toast. The lady who serve breakfast was very nice and sweet. But I won't stay here again.

overall experience

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was good and the price also the employees were friendly and helpful and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: Just if not driving location is far from main attractions of Seattle otherwise nothing else.
Location: great sandwich shop one block up otherwise anything is up the road more all touring is downtown.
Overall everything was good except that the hotel was so far from downtown and for someone who was not familiar with the area and did not drive it was kind of a letdown although the bus service was great but still took almost an hour to get downtown on the express line and I was informed that the hotel was 14 miles from downtown WRONG!. The construction around the hotel was difficult espically for shuttles to get in and out of for pickup to and from airport. For the single room it was nice however the bathroom was extremly small and where the toilet paper holder was quite an inconvience as the door had to be pushed open to access it.Also there was no ice machine on the 2nd floor only the first.

Cheap

Place needs an upgrade, fuzzy TV, saggy bed. It is cheap, so you get what you pay for.

Basic but clean and comfortable.

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Stayed here 5 nights. Could hear the neighbors a little but not too bad. Clean and basic place. SSS then off to enjoy town. Will recommend and stay again. The sports bar next door is fun also and no driving required.
