overall experience

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was good and the price also the employees were friendly and helpful and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: Just if not driving location is far from main attractions of Seattle otherwise nothing else.
Location: great sandwich shop one block up otherwise anything is up the road more all touring is downtown.
Overall everything was good except that the hotel was so far from downtown and for someone who was not familiar with the area and did not drive it was kind of a letdown although the bus service was great but still took almost an hour to get downtown on the express line and I was informed that the hotel was 14 miles from downtown WRONG!. The construction around the hotel was difficult espically for shuttles to get in and out of for pickup to and from airport. For the single room it was nice however the bathroom was extremly small and where the toilet paper holder was quite an inconvience as the door had to be pushed open to access it.Also there was no ice machine on the 2nd floor only the first.

Cheap

Place needs an upgrade, fuzzy TV, saggy bed. It is cheap, so you get what you pay for.

Basic but clean and comfortable.

Stayed here 5 nights. Could hear the neighbors a little but not too bad. Clean and basic place. SSS then off to enjoy town. Will recommend and stay again. The sports bar next door is fun also and no driving required.

Hotel and Close Surrounding Area

Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: The hotel staff was very pleasant. Close to eating establishments, easy to and from Interstate 5 and downtown Seattle.
Cons: Definately more eye to detail in the cleaniness of the rooms.
Location: As above.
Easy access to downtown Seattle and easy access off interstate 5. Excellent Mexican restaurant just 2 doors away. There was a Fred Meyer, a Krispy Kreme, and other fast food and restaurants all along Aurora Avenue. The Hotel staff were very pleasant. Disappointed in the cleaniness of the room - found a used face cloth on the shower rod from the previous client(s)? Also noticed that the counter where the microwave sat- in the cabinet itself below , it had not been cleaned - there was water spots from the sink? and it was dusty. The breakfast in the am was average.

Pros: PRICE AND LOCATION FITTED MY NEEDS.
HOTEL WAS OK, BUT THERE WAS A LOT OF CONSTRUCTION GOING ON TO THE STREET INFRONT OF THE HOTEL. IT WAS NOISEY IN THE MORNINGS, AND MADE ENTERING AND EXITING THE HOTEL DIFFICULT.

Built in the 70s, hasn't changed since.

Posted Sep 22, 2014
This place has probably not been updated since being built and probably the same bed and linens too. The room and facility is very dated and nothing with exception of a tv seems to be modern. The best linens were scratchy like they had been washed and used for the last 15 years, and I literally sank into the middle of the bed from how many people have laid in it for so long. Continental breakfast was mediocre. Staff was friendly and nice on the upside.

It was an OK hotel, that's all I can say.

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: It was inexpensive
Cons: I ended up getting a smoker's room, which was my mistake in booking, I just saw the pricing. Being that, an effort to get rid of the smell of smoke.
Location: We caught it at a time where they were widening the road, so it wasn't something we expected. Restaurants were nearby.
On the things they could control, they were not bad. Friendly staff, and great inexpensive hotel to be at.

Very disappointed with this hotel.

Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: Not much.
Cons: The bathrooms
Location: There is a lot of construction and road works around this hotel at the present time.
The bathroom was in a terrible state. It was not dirty, but in need of a makeover. The door was squeaky, the fan was terrible and the base of the toilet was broken. The beds were fine. Definitely would not recommend the hotel. The breakfast was poor compared to other Days Inn we have stayed in.
