We like to stay more in the country away from the busy spots. This was perfect. We booked a garden view room but they changed it to the hillside view and the view was amazing.

The Villa is located in the countryside, beautiful old historic building, spacious bedroom, modern dining room , delicious food, beautiful decor and fantastic service and view of the countryside. An excellent place to stay

The staff was outstanding. The rooms are great. Very spacious. Great big bath towels We were there for 6 days and the chef changed the menu daily.Every meal was fantastic. Great selections of wines. It was a very relaxing stay. I would highly recommend Villa Sabolini 😀

Lovely stay in the heart of wine county. We loved the view and luxurious feel, including the restaurant which was wonderfully priced! This is more of a hotel and a relaxing place to come back to after wine tasting or another excursion. Want to give this five stars but during our last night the staff got into a long and loud disagreement that was quite disruptive and went on for over an hour. We ended up going back to the room even though we wanted to enjoy the terrace.

The villa was gorgeous. We came during the low season so not many guests but we’re treated well and the staff provided great excursion suggestions and was very interested in ensuring we enjoyed our stay. The food was delicious (breakfast and dinner) and the rooms spacious, big and full of character with a terrific balance of old and modern amenities. I would happily go back. Such a treat.

Excellent stay at Villa Sabolini. We wanted to be in a place in the countryside, and this was a perfect choice. The quality if the meals at the restaurant blew us away so that we made sure to have dinner again there the next night. Kudos to the chef! The staff was super friendly, especially at the restaurant, and less so at the front desk. Would recommend Villa Sabolini for a nice stay in the Tuscan countryside.

Lovely and fascinating history
Incredible and beautiful hotel and location. Wifi worked great. The dog on reception was adorable. Everything was clean and tidy and spacious. The lady at breakfast with the glasses was lovely and helped us fond some local spots in the area to really enjoy our trip. The AC in the room 313 was broke, it was ok but the day we left was hot so might not have been fun that night with no AC.

A most enjoyable one night stay. The Superior Room was modern and spacious and the breakfast choice was wide and delicious including good coffee and tea, fruits and pastries.

The view is unbelievable, the property stunning, the staff were so amazing! The only regret is we didn't stay longer. Highly recommend this hotel its out of the way and very peaceful.

This place is amazing! The building, the rooms, the staff, the restaurant, the grounds are all amazing! The ONLY thing I think they could improve on is the strength of the wifi signal, especially in the rooms. The router was directly outside our room door and we still had a very weak signal.

Had a very nice time in Tuscany with our family. Place was clean and spacious. The restaurant was very good. location is a short drive to several towns worth visiting (eg San Giamignano and Siena). one suggestion would be for the hotel to offer bike/vespa rentals. In summary, would certainly stay there again.

Our only regrets were that we didn't find and stay at this place sooner! Breakfast, room ( we upgraded) and dinner were perfect. Next time, we'll stay for a week. Just in a wonderful area of Tuscany. Loved, loved, loved it.

Nice stay in an old villa in Chianti Valley
Very nice hotel in an old villa located in the "campagna" in the Chianti Valley. Very nice place to stay and rest, and to visit Siena, San Gimigniano, the Chianti Valley, etc... Warning: You need a car if you are going to stay in this location, the closest restaurant is a couple of miles away.

Stunning hotel, off the beaten track
This beautiful old hotel stands in glorious grounds and was the perfect getaway for just relaxing. Beautiful food, staff that are so courteous and friendly, and superbly clean rooms make this a hotel we shall definitely return to.

I LOVE IT and Have visited 5 or 6 times
I love visiting Sabolini because it's like visiting a friend's lovely peaceful home on a Tuscan hillside with beautiful grounds. Built in the 15th century, Sabolini has beautiful well appointed rooms with high carved Tuscan ceilings, generous well equipped marble bathrooms, comfortable beds. There is a pleasant pool looking at the hills, a spacious living room, attractive bar, and an enormous terrace for sun, dining and gatherings. The cuisine is tasty Tuscan specialties in charming dining rooms or al fresco. Extensive breakfast buffet is free, as is onsite parking and wifi. Ownership and management is a service oriented genial Italian family with sons in charge of Villa Sabolini, Borgo San Luigi, a San Gemignano restaurant and a Florence Hotel. They can arrange interesting day trips. I relax with the gracious resident St. Bernard in a gorgeous tranquil setting. And I love to walk there. Out the front gate there is a small picturesque church and a few dwellings that immediately give way to vistas, vineyards and olive orchards. Wonderful place to walk. Easy drive to Siena, Florence, the Chianti hills, and much more.

Great Tuscan Surprise
Amazing views from our window. Ample parking that is in a secure location. Breakfast was stocked very well. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Our room was in the building dating from the 1400's. The price was very cheap for the location, room, and breakfast included. Many interesting sites to see within a 20 kilometer distance from the hotel. We liked it so much we booked another (longer stay) for later this month.

Great gem in the Tuscan countryside
What a great find!! sitting on top of a hill overlooking the Tuscan countryside, Villa Sabolini was 5 stars on every level. We were looking for a quiet place to hang out and relax, and couldn't have found a better place or staff. Everyone was wonderful, attentive and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was tasty for lunches/dinners, and the breakfast buffet was varied and fresh.

A hidden gem.
This hotel is excellent and highly recommended. I WILL go back and stay at least a week. centrally located to all Tuscany areas and tourist sites. Friendly staff, excellent facilities, best food. This is a hidden gem and one that should not be overlooked. It may ot be a Marriott but this is a charming place that shouldnt be missed..

Charming retreat in Tuscany
Excellent resort/villa in Tuscany. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious. Easy access to many hilltop towns in the area. Beautiful sunrises with a breathtaking view of the foggy valley. Nando, two years old Saint Bernard dog is always "at guard" of the Villa... We have really enjoyed quiet charm of this place in the middle of our tour to Venice, Florence and Rome.
