Paradise
Beautiful views and easy beach access. Whole family enjoyed the condo. Location is far enough away from the busy village, but not to far to catch the trolley for dinner and a night out seamlessly. We hope to come back and stay again next year.

We were so excited to begin vacation and were so crestfallen to walk in and see how dirty this unit was. Grease was all over the stove and on the coffee machine and pot. Food, dirt and sand on the floor, a dirty sheetpan with food on it in the oven, black liquid spilled and left in the refrigerator, a bucket full of dirty utensils and a silverware tray with food stuck on it, There was a condom wrapper, water bottle and other garbage behind the guest room bed. Sand from the previous guest was not swept off the floor or vacuumed off the rug. The sun room looks nothing like the photo. There were piles of sand, different furniture and full of old toys, may of which are broken and the outdoor furniture does not exist. There is one stained plastic chaise outside. Every vertical surface was covered in dust and grease including picture frames and baseboards. The owner was not terribly concerned and was "surprised" as it is usually so clean. Not the case. There was so much greasy dirt on the vents and glass bookshelf it is hard to tell when it was last cleaned. The morning of day two was spent leaving the beach to meet the people delivering the dryer and all the issues that happened and ultimately couldn't be installed so we could not do laundry in the unit. The beach was beautiful and I would return to another unit but this one is not managed. I would be so upset if my parents were the ones that rented it and had to clean it in order to enjoy their vacation.

This is not not even close to an acurate description of the condo. We manage this condo ourselves and take great pride in the appearance and cleanliness of the unit. We are frequently there doing maintenance and deep cleans. Please look at the fifty plus other 5 star reviews we have had over the last few years. The lanai actually looks better than the current picture as we purchased a new table and chairs, plus cabinet for provided beach supplies/toys. Recents updates include: Brand new front load washer/Dryer. New kitchen cabinets. All new kitchen appliances. New hot water heater. And New AC!!

Great location
The property was a bit smaller than expected- but for us it was all about location. You literally are steps away from the water. They were renovating the beach (putting new sand down) so the beach in front of the unit could not be used during the day. We had to use the public beach about 200 yds away. Even though the host wasn’t at fault- he made an excellent effort to make it right. We really appreciated that. The property is definitely worth it if all you are looking for is a place to sleep and eat, but the rest of your time being on the water. I’d definitely go back.

Just Say No!
This listing does not match description! Unit bathrooms were filthy and not stocked! Owner had to order supplies on Amazon after I complained. Orders sent to unit on day 4 or 5 of my 20 day stay! Had to call owner upon arrival for entry directions. Rusty broken lounge chairs! No iron, vacuum, dishwasher machine soap to start. Internet sketchy and no instructions to control 3 different tvs. Owner lied and said he had ordered a deep clean prior to my arrival- he may have ordered it but it did not happen! Window blinds broken. Sent a cleaner out to unit on day 3 or 4- even she agreed w dirty conditions. Seems to me this out of state owner doesnt care or just can’t keep up! Just say NO! I have pictures to illustrate conditions.

Great, quiet condo
Unfortunately we were only able to stay a few days due to Hurricane Ian, but we had a great time at this condo. The beach is right outside the back door and the pool was also very close. The location was close to shopping, restaurants and Siesta Key Beach.

A Long Awaited Beach Getaway
Great condo and property with direct access to a quiet beach and nice swimming pool. Tons of shells to collect, fantastic wildlife viewing (dolphins, pelicans, manatee). The unit is set up very well for up to 6 people comfortably. It could use a deep clean, and some updating to the bathroom plumbing, but was really fantastic! The area is perfect for a quiet, slower pace vacation, with only 15 minutes drive time (or free shuttle) to the north part of the key with all the hustle and bustle.

This is the second year in a row I’ve booked this property. I love the ease of everything! Sitting by the waves every morning with coffee, then returning later to lie out in the sun. Then, topping it off with beautiful sunsets in the evening. The best thing is that you only have to bring yourself. Stay by the water as long or short as you like and walk a few feet and go back in. The VRBO is well kept and has everything you need to make food or venture out. I love staying here and will continue to book this property!!

Very nice location. Close to Siesta Key Village. The kitchen is updated with beautiful granite countertops and nice stainless steel appliances. Unfortunately this would not be considered a 3 bedroom condo. This is a two bedroom unit that they took out the master bedroom closet and put in bunkbeds and an opening from the livingroom. . So the master bedroom has no closet at all. It has one of those portable steel racks with hangers. It does have a bureau. The bunk room “has no closet no regular door no electrical out let and no room to even walk around the bed so it’s just a two bedroom two bath but if you have small children it’s fine because it’s just a bunkbed. No room to even walk around it. There is no closet in the other master bedroom either just a medal rack with hangers although it did have a bureau The front bedroom is the only one with a closet so if you don’t care about closet space it’s fine. There is seating for 4 in the livingroom. 4 in the dining room and 5 at the kitchen counter. The kitchen is adequate now because the owner sent a few frying pans and some stemless wine glasses and coffee cups. Thankfully whenever we had an issue the owner was prompt to help us and rectify the issue as soon as he could which we really appreciated. The condo is just steps from a 🏝 Beach and small pool. We had a nice vacation for 5 adults.

We had a great time! The beach/ocean is out your back door and the bay out the front door. The only thing to get used to was the moisture we felt on the furniture and the beds from the air. We loved having plenty of beds for everyone! There were 6 of us; all adults. The bunk beds were for our unmarried son and his fiance.

Great Family Beach Getaway
This beach condo was super. It was steps away from the beach and pool...right outside our back door. We could sit outside and hear the waves! The kids had room to play as well, where we could see them, and the hose at the back door made for easy clean up coming in from the beach. The unit was well equipped and had a great layout. There were king beds, bunks for the kids, and lots of family space. Parking was right outside our front door and great restaurants nearby. We had a small issue with one of the doors and our host responded immediately and remedied the problem. Definite plusses all around and the week flew by! Would definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet spot for a good value
The listing was accurate. The place was clean and the owner was responsive. It's a quiet spot at the southern end of Turtle Beach, which admittedly is narrower than the larger beach to the north. You can always take the free shuttle (which stops very close to the condo) to the busier spots and the bigger beach. But for us, it was perfect for rest, sun and surf fishing. The neighbors were quiet and respectful. It also was well situated to get to kayaking (which leaves from the small park next to the condo) and charter fishing boats and jet ski rentals about 2 miles away. A few good restaurants are within walking distance as well. We'd definitely consider it again if we return to Siesta Key.

Great owner and place, could use a little love.
It is a great place and we had a great trip. If you want to be on the beach with 2 plus bedrooms this is about the least expensive option and considering that, it's great. Depending upon what a renter is prioritizing, the property seemed a little expensive. I'm guessing it just a feeling based on some of these things: The laundry lint trap is not operational, which causes all the lint to accumulate in the exhaust vent which results in very slow drying and is definitely fire hazard. The AC was on when we arrived and the place was cool so it must have been working. We had it off for the time we were there in February 22' as we prefer to the fans. The last night we tried to turn on the AC for a 3 hours with windows closed up and the temperature inside went from 76 to 80ﾟ and there was no cool air blowing out of the vents. Not sure what's up with that. The screen in the master bedroom was in the lanai porch and is a little bent although I got it to fit OK, fortunately it was not really bug season. One of the big screens on on the porch is also missing, it would have been nice to have a little more airflow. The lamp in the master bedroom by the bathroom is broken. The deadbolt on the porch door does not work. The kitchen faucet is totally functional but a bit broken. The 2nd bathroom shower cold handle is leaking, The $2 face plate cover on the 2nd bathroom light switch should be replaced with one that fits the plug outlet style light switches, it's the kid's bathroom and kids can easily poke something into the gap and make a contact with the hot wires. None of these are big deal, we would happily stay here again. The heated pool is great, the chilly beach is great, we love having all of the beach toys available, shuffle board :-) 2 easy walk to restaurants. Intense traffic in and out of siesta key - time your drives appropriately.

Just found out the AC condenser was no longer operational and installed a whole new AC system 3/5/22. Also did deep clean of dryer vent, replaced filter and Bathroom electrical plate. Remaining items will be addressed asap.

Location, location, location
We've stayed at Fisherman's Cove several times in the past although this was the first time in this particular unit. We love the location on Turtle Beach although the beach has eroded significantly since our last visit two years ago. The location is close to the Siesta Key trolley turnaround in Turtle Beach providing easy access to the shops and restaurants in Siesta Key Village. We selected this particular unit since we were going with another couple and the unit was renovated to include two master bedrooms. However, we were a bit disappointed with the amenities. The unit could definitely use some updates in that area... better lounges outside, more glasses and coffee mugs, and better cooking utensils. Other than that the unit served our needs well.

75 steps from the ocean! Bedrooms were as stated in the description but even better in person. Kitchen has everything needed for a relaxing beach experience. There are coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, all in the lanai. We had a fabulous vacation!! I would definitely book again.

Girls Trip
My three best friends and I stayed here. We all turned 50 this year. We had a wonderful time. The condo is perfect for beach lovers. We were on the beach everyday and enjoyed dinner at the nearby restaurants or in Siesta Key Village. The only recommendation is that there be a dustpan or vacuum in the unit. There's a lot of sand. We swept with the broom, but had to use a newspaper for a dustpan. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location for family vacation
We were surprised to see how many beach toys there were at this condo! It was perfect! We enjoyed walking the beach every morning and evening. We even got to see a baby sea turtle hatch and make it's way to the water!! The washer and dryer worked well, as did the oven and microwave. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Perfect getaway!
This beach was the perfect relaxing retreat for a mother/daughter week. Our unit had everything we needed and was just steps from the beach...perfect for our age group. The beach and restaurants weren't crowded. We will definitely be back! I would recommend some new beach chairs as well as lounge chairs outside unit as the ones here are broken and not comfortable.

For beachfront it was good
Pros: beachfront unit with private open access lanai to beach. Air conditioning with dehumidifier works great. Some slight updates( granite counters, large screen TV) both king size beds were nice and comfortable sleeping. Cons: this unit is set up like a hotel. If you register 6 guest then you only get 6 towels and 6 washcloths. There isn’t any kitchen linens.(no dish clothes etc). You WILL do laundry everyday as there isn’t Any supplies of towels etc. No soaps, trash bags, floor cleaning supplies. We spent additional $600 at store for supplies right off the bat. Unit needs updating. Cabinets old broken and sticky. Both bathrooms with tiled walk in showers. They were ok but could use some love ( updating and scrub off mold). We love Fisherman’s Cove. But will avoid renting this unit in the future. There are other units in better condition than this particular one. I would like to end with the fact that the unit did work well for our needs. We had a great time. The unit just needs some love and attention. Maybe with some added supplies as to realizing it’s not meant to be a hotel room with daily maid service. People are staying for at least a week so LINENS are a must.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our beachfront condo. We really appreciate the feedback. We take great pride in providing our guests the best possible vacation and truly bend over backwards to make sure everybody enjoys their stay. I'm glad the new tv's, comfy beds, and nice quartz counters were appreciated! We also recently purchased a new modern table/chairs for the lanai and new gathering height Kitchen table. Unfortunately, I did not hear from this guest during their stay or I would have overnighted new bath towels and kitchen towels. (we also do provide paper towels for all guests in kitchen) I did purchase new towels and sent to our housekeeper when I read this. Also, the bathroom shower tiles have been professionally cleaned recently by Grout Brothers. I'm really not sure how you can spend $600 on cleaning supplies for one week... but sounds like the unit should now be fully stocked for the next few years =). I am frequently at the condo doing maintenance and renovations and take great pride in the appearance and cleanliness.

Condo was clean and mostly updated. I was a little disappointed with the beach in this area. It was a little narrow, if the complex would have been full the beach would have been extremely crowded. The dunes blocked the view of the ocean. My teenagers would have liked to have been in walking distance to more things. I was very happy with the prompt response from the owner when I emailed about towels !!! Overall wonderful, clean and quite!!!

Our section of Turtle beach is never crowded. It's probably the most relaxing beach in Siesta...and it's right out the back door.

Fabulous Location!!
Fantastic location, just steps to the beach and a screened porch so you can listen to the waves. The condo is 90% renovated with a nice clean style. The bathrooms have not been completely updated yet. We had a little trouble with the code lock getting in and the TV in the living room was on the fritz. But, Paul was responsive and ready. He already had a new TV available and he sent new batteries for the lock. All in all, we had a nice relaxing week. We will likely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Fishermen’s Cove vacation! Two master bedroom areas is great for my husband and I and our friends. The lanai and being on main level was so convenient and easy! Shelling was awesome! Kayaking on the inlet behind the condo was so fun. The trolley was an easy 5 minute walk to take us to the village. We had some trouble with one of the TV’s, so Paul ordered a new one that was delivered in a couple days! The only downside was that housekeeping could do a better job better job of dusting and overall cleaning. It was a great vacation! 2/22/20

Beautiful & Quiet Beach Front Condo
This was our third time staying at Fisherman's Cove and our our second at unit 111A. The condo was clean and had an adequate kitchen tools/appliances/pans and in the lanai we found lots of sand tools, buckets, pool floats, boogie boards and kick boards. There was one working, collapsible beach chair as well. Our family loves the heated pool, easy beach access and washer/dryer in condo is convenient. All beds and furniture are comfortable. Love that the property is always quiet and family friendly when we've stayed in November. Condo is a very short drive or walk to the free trolley that runs to the Village. Beautiful Siesta Key public beach access is just a short drive away. Turtle Beach is also nice; we've had very good luck shelling there. The owner is very accessible. Would definitely rent again!

I can’t say enough good things about this rental. Walk way to the beach is just outside the back door with the ocean just a few feet away. It made it so easy to go in and out for lunch, etc. the property itself is spacious and beautiful. The shelling on this beach was wonderful. I will definitely come back again!
