great location and service. Wide selection breakfast buffet, complimentary mini bar. Only complaint would be that the beds only had a thick comforter as a cover, no thin sheets, and that the person sharing my room snored heavily.

“Great place to stay”

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights for business and pleasure. We arrived in Singapore at 2 am and our late check-in was a breeze. This hotel is central and convenient to Orchard Street shopping, the MRT station is across the street, grocery store at Shaw Centre is around the corner, 24 hour restaurant on the premises, 24 hour McDonald's out the door and a steady flow of taxis. Excellent hotel service was provided by everyone from housekeeping, concierge, front desk, restaurant host, etc... We stayed in a premium room with wi-fi access, free refill of the mini-bar, coffee, tea, flat screen tv with movie channels and if you prefer, nightly turn-down service. The only suggestion I would recommend is to bring your own hair dryer. I have long hair and the one they had in the room was small and plugged into the nightstand next to the bed with a short reach. However, be careful if you bring your own. We contacted the front desk to help us with getting our dryer to work and within minutes, they had someone from maintenance/housekeeping up to our room. Well, we unknowingly blew ours out with the U.S. recommended voltage adapter. So, to weigh on the safe side, I would call for assistance before plugging your in. Computers and cell phones did not require any adaptors as the sockets in the rooms are already fitted. The Carousel restaurant buffet has a wonderful assortment of Singaporean delights. I would definetly stay here again and highly recommend.

“Perfect location”

I had an extended stay at the hotel for business. For me it was in the perfect location. The hotel staff are extremely helpful. The rooms are large and well maintained (the free drinks in the mini bar are a bonus. Access to high speed broadband connection was very important to me and this was excellent (and at no surcharge). The buffet breakfast is the perfect start for a day. I will use this hotel for all future visits to Singapore.

“First Class Hotel”

This hotel was exceptional from the moment we walked in to the moment we checked out. The room was clean and comfortably laid out. We were on the 13th floor and it was very quiet with no street noise. We would just collapse in the bed and sleep very soundly. The large high definition TV had plenty of channels in multiple languages so we always found something to watch when we wanted to. Located just off the main street in Singapore, Orchard, it provided easy access to everything there. The staff was always helpful and responsive. We selected Club access and were provided with great selections for breakfast. Afternoon tea and evening cocktails made for a real treat. All in all, this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in and would stay there again, should we visit Singapore in the future.

If you can get this place at a good price, grab it! Great location on Scotts right off Orchard. This hotel has won awards and you can see why. Top quality value. Also has popular High Tea and buffet restaurant. Free wifi and gym, too!

“Great location, friendly people”

One thing great about Singapore is the convenience and efficiency of the MRT. I especially love the location of this hotel because of its proximity to the Orchard station. Just got off the train and walked no more than 3 minutes and I was at the hotel lobby. Rooms were clean and appreciated the free drinks (beer, soda, and juice) the hotel provided and replenished everyday in the fridge. Never got to use the pool and the gym which I regret. One thing though: the buffet at this hotel was more expensive than the Hyatt and the Marriot which were also nearby. The Hyatt had a great breakfast buffet selection. The Marriot's was good too.

“Great comfort”

The Royal Plaza Hotel was modern, clean and the staff were all very professional and friendly. The furniture in the room seemed almost new and the bed was very comfortable. The only drawback was that my window opened directly out to a parking garage and the noise from the traffic was quite loud at times. Other than this, my stay at the hotel was wonderful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Luxury, Great Service, In the Heart of Singapore”

Recommend this to anyone, I got a great rate when I went for my stay. The staff is responsive and attentive to every need. Ate at Carousel for breakfast which was pricey but the extent of the offering at the buffet merit it. Would definitely go back.
