Beautiful Valley
Shelley is an excellent host. Great communication, everything you could ask for and more in the kitchen and pantry! The cabin is cozy and the area was very quiet for our much needed disconnect!! Of course the fall colored trees made it even more spectacular!! Thanks so much Shelley!!

Great relaxing change of scenery
Beautiful place with little unique rooms to hang out in. We spent a lot of time reading and relaxing on the main floor. The basement was cool so a couple evenings were spent down there and played some air hockey too! The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was amazing, stocked up and had any type of appliance, tool or gadget that you could dream of. Great stay! Thank you so much. It was the relaxing change of scenery that we needed.

Wapiti Cottage
Our family really enjoyed this cottage. It has a lot of cool nooks that are decorated very nicely. There is a lot to do in the winter - downhill skiing, cross country skiing and ice fishing. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful step back in time
Well decorated little piece of history. All the amenities of a modern stay but in a perfect time period home. Lots of cozy nooks, great for big families. One bathroom, but that's part of the charm and you make it work

Will gladly stay here again
This charming cottage has so much space, character and convenience. Owner was extremely helpful and friendly. My kids (7 and 10) absolutely loved the place (especially the air hockey table). We will stay here again.

Cute and well stocked cabin, not much to do close by.
The cabin is nice and spacious, fully stocked with everything you need. The antiques are cool to see. There is no AC so the top floor bedrooms were too hot to use, during July heat. We spent most of our time in the basement which was a nice spot and stayed cool. Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly, she provided contacts for rentals close by etc. There is no fire pit or outdoor “yard” to really use, combined with a large wasps nest on a trailer next door the yard was mostly unusable for relaxing. As for the area, here are some things I wish I knew. There is nothing to do for half hour in either direction. Lots of driving to find things to do. Melfort is half hour away and has a nice wave pool, Nipawin is 45 minutes away and we meant to visit the Regional Park but was too windy, they do have an outdoor water park with a water slide. We visited the Nipawin Dam and has a nice little shore for fishing with nice sand. Tobin Lake Resort was about an hour away and has a boat rental and mini golf etc. We rented a boat but our stay was too windy and they wouldn’t allow boats out on the water. The closest store/gas etc was in Choiceland and was about 25 minutes away. They have a cafe, saloon and a few little stores as well. We visited Trishas Signs and designs, really cute little store with giftware and ice cream, she hooked us up with a tour of the local museum which was cute and informative about the area. The Older gentleman at the Sundown saloon was very unwelcoming. Food was decent and well priced but probably would not return. The cabin overall was great and would probably be even better in the winter if your a skier. The landscapes are beautiful in the area with lots of wildlife.

Nice getaway
Very comfortable cabin with everything you need for your stay away from home. Spacious very clean rooms with lots of charm. Easy access off the main highway. If you bring a boat for a summer stay you have access right around the corner. But the public dock is a fun place catch minnows for the kids otherwise! Your a little drive away from services but that’s part of the charm of a secluded getaway amongst the trees. Highly recommend checking out Nipawin Regional Park while you stay in the area! Thank you for letting us enjoy your cabin!
