Arrived towards 1am but checked in with ease. Room was comfortably although blinds were noisy. Fitness centre looked OK if small but one of the two treadmills was out of orders. Breakfast was delicious and not too busy even mid morning.

Beautiful view, included hotel breakfast is AMAZING- anything you can think of to want is available. Beautiful lobby, heated floor in the bathroom, and great location. Less than a 10 minute walk from the train station, close to lots of restaurants and shops. 10/10 would recommend

My room lacked function window (opened on the lobby!) and none had independent climate control. First room was extremely stuffy, too warm and sleep was challenging with only a. down comforter in a warm stuff room. Water was at most luke warm in first room, but staff agreed to move me to a room with a window that opened to the outside; would have been near impossible to sleep otherwise. Breakfast was excellent and diverse, staff friendly, place very clean, and well situated in town centre.

The hotel is located on the river and adjacent to the historic part of the city. The breakfast was varied and plentiful; the desk clerks were helpful; be sure to ask for a room with a view of the river.

When we had an issue with our room, they moved us immediately and made it right. Loved our room, the view, the breakfast and the staff; all were wonderful. Thank you for the great memories of Trondheim!

Great location for easy walking to Nidaros Cathedral, Old Town Bridge, Antique Stores, Shops and Dining. The breakfast was beyond amazing! Truly! They advertise as being known for their breakfasts and it is TRUE! We were able to drop off our luggage prior to check in, so we could explore the city. This was much appreciated. The downside was the unexpected cost of parking at this hotel. This is to be expected in a larger city, I am sure, but I didn't see it advertised as such. We had just stayed at a Scandic hotel in a different city the previous night and the parking was free.

Overall stay was OK, Rooms are quite dark since there is no main light source in bedroom. Only floor lamp in the corner or sconce light near bed. I believe this is also reason why carpets are not maintained with care because rooms are relatively dark. There are no power outlets near bed. TVset can be connected remotely with smartphone to share the screen. This is useful. Location of hotel is very good.

Stayed at Nidelven so Icouldcompare. This was inferior. Floors on two levels, so you better know your room number before boarding the elevator. Placed in handicap room, which I don't recall reserving. Window dirty. Floor heating controls inoperable. Soap from previous guest in room. Nidelven breakfast way better. Budget 15 minutes for taxi.

Great location
Great location, great breakfast, nice view over the water, helpful staff, v clean in general. The only issue was our room didn’t get serviced - we were in when room service knocked, they said they’d come back in 5 mins when we’d left, but it never got done. No real issue though! Would stay again.

Dårlig rengjøring
Fint hotell, hyggelig betjening men overraskende at de velger å ikke rydde/vaske rommene ikke skifte på håndklær osv og skylder på korona. Dette er kun gjort med tanke på å spare penger.De burde og opplyst om det når du bestiller at de ikke rengjør rommet under ditt opphold. Det er for dårlig og kommer til å velge et annet hotell neste gang.

The location is perfect for being close to town. Breakfast is the best I've had in Europe. Our room was very small so I wished the website had some indication of square footage. On our 4th day, our room did not get serviced. I spoke to the front desk who assured us it would get done but it never did.

Excellent hotel,breakfast was amazing and the location was ideal to see the city. Ask for a river view room as the colourful houses opposite make it one like no other hotel stay.
