Premier Napa Valley 2024
We were here for business and pleasure because we own a wine store in Florida and were attending Premier Napa Valley. The location was wonderful. The house is spectacular and Sarah was very responsive when we had any questions. Would highly recommend it to anyone else, and we will definitely be staying there for our next trip to Wine country.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay in his attractive, comfortable, well-appointed home. The bocce court was a great bonus. We Also enjoyed having the grill available for use. Nicely walkable to nearby restaurants, including the iconic Model Bakery. And a very helpful, communicative owner.

Fabulous location for St Helena downtown area
We had a great time at this property. Short walking distance to the great shops and restaurants. Very comfortable furniture in the family room. Kitchen is pretty well equipped for cooking. We made several great meals and also cooked on the grill outside a couple of times. We made use of the rosemary and Sage that are growing in the garden! Great deck area where we enjoyed the wonderful weather and the shade of the trees. It was such a relaxing place to come home to each day. Sarah was a great host too - very responsive and helpful. We’d stay again.

St Helena Hub
Great place to stay to stay if you want to be centrally located to the northern wineries. St Helena is a great and cute town, but also driving distance within all of the northern wineries, Calistoga and Yountville restaurants. Also the pool is a big plus!

In the heart of St Helena
I try to give 100% honest reviews so other renters can make informed choices when booking. My family rented this property for a wedding we were attending at Tre Posti in St Helena. The location for us was ideal as it was less than a mile away. There is a Safeway within a couple blocks and while you could walk to most things in town it wasn’t close enough for us as we had little ones with us and it was to far for us to walk for restaurants and shopping. The communication and check in with the owner was easy and convenient. The house itself served our needs but the photos shown in listing may be a bit “edited” with a kind filter. The home is an older Craftsman and the house and furnishings are a bit more dated than the photos reflect. It was stocked with all of the basic kitchen and bath supplies and was reasonably clean. The downstairs bedrooms are comfortable but just for renters knowledge there are not TV’s in either of them. The upstairs bedroom was a little warm but luckily there is a floor fan to move some air and it did have a TV. The property is spacious and did have the pool but due to the time of year we were there it was too cold to use. Also to be noted it is a very shallow pool (maybe 3-4 ft deep). The house while close to all the town has to offer is on the main street through town and thus does have a lot of traffic. The front bedroom probably has the most noise from it. It wasn't enough to be a problem for us as we were up early everyday. If you want to sleep in you may want to choose a different room. The house instructions were clear and easy and there was a lot of helpful information regarding local restaurants and even driver info if you wanted to hire a car. Over all we had all we needed.

Thank you Dede, I’m glad that you enjoyed your stay! If your travels bring you back during warm weather when you can use the pool, you’ll be glad to know that it is in fact 7 feet deep. It tapers from 3.5 feet on the shallow side to just over 7 feet on the deep side (I made sure of it when I had it built). Although the house is just two and a half blocks from St Helena’s restaurants, shops and bars, it sounds like with little ones you could have benefited from the double stroller that I keep in the garage. I apologize - I should have brought it into visible site for you. One of the best features of the home is it’s walkability. Just over two blocks to Model Bakery, Market restaurant, cook, goose & gander and many more of my favorites. As far as the furnishings, I’m sorry to learn that you found them to be outdated. I tried to use a traditional design aesthetic when selecting furnishings to honor the 102 year old craftsman home. And I assure you, the photos were not edited, but I’ll take that as a compliment. Thank you! I took the photos a few years ago on my film camera and a few outdoor shots were done on my iPhone. Thank you again for your stay and I would be happy to welcome you back on your next trip to the Napa Valley :)

The Best Stay!!!
I don’t know how we landed this place but after so much searching it popped up. It was so fantastic! The location can’t be beat, so much within walking distance (we walked to model bakery every morning) . The house is so beautifully appointed, like out of a Nancy Meyers movie; the backyard is pure perfection (especially with some wine). Great shared living space but plenty of privacy and comfy beds. The host was so helpful and responsive before our trip- didn’t need any help once we were there since the house was in perfect condition and had everything laid out. Wish i could have stayed forever!

Lovely stay in St. Helena
This house is located right in downtown within walking distance to everything. We loved using the pool and bocce court out back. A great location to travel to the wineries. Our only complaint was when we arrived the air was turned off on a day that it was nearly 100 degrees. It made sleeping in the upstair bedroom uncomfortable that first night.

This is a well equipped and comfortable home, and we enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and shops in downtown. The weather was quite chilly during our stay in late December. We appreciated having plenty of fire wood for the living room fireplace, but it was difficult to balance the heat overnight between the first floor bedrooms which remained too cold while upstairs bedroom was too hot.This would not be a problem during the warmer seasons. The backyard was very attractive with great amenities for warm weather outdoor activities.There was plenty of off street parking.

Great spot and and wonderful house! St. Helena is a very comfortable town and close to wineries so it makes for a great location. The house is very, very nice. Well laid out. Lots of space to get cozy. The street in front is a bit busy but it's also a short walk to everything which is a bit of a tradeoff. The house did have A/C although the listing said it didn't. Carpets needed some touch up, but other than that a great house in a great location. The property manager was great and very responsive to everything. Overall a great stay!

Very nicely maintained craftsman, perfectly located
Very nicely maintained craftsman, perfectly located just a few minutes walk from downtown St. Helena. Even closer to the new Alila Hotel, which we highly recommend for a cocktail prepared by awesome mixologist Stephen. Very comfortable for 2 couples which was the size of our group, and certainly fine for 3 couples as well (the two couples staying downstairs will be sharing a bathroom; not a big deal, just an FYI). The upstairs ensuite bedroom was spacious, and the bed and pillows were very high quality. During our stay we enjoyed all of the amenities which drew us to this property -- bocce court, pool and BBQ. The owner Sarah is super nice and highly communicative. Overall, highly recommend this property.

On the main drag and terribly noisy, beginning at 5 a.m.
Don’t stay here if you want to sleep past 5 a.m. or enjoy the property. The front yard is impossible to enjoy at all.

I am sorry to hear that you were disturbed in the early morning hours. We are a farming community here in the Napa Valley with our harvest taking place August to October. Many travelers like to visit during Crush to witness the wineries at work. However, during this timeframe grapes are harvested early in the morning before the heat of the day and then transported from vineyards to wineries on trucks. The home has a downtown location, which is a benefit in regards to it being just steps from restaurants, shopping and wineries. I hope you were able to enjoy the pool, which is located at the very back of the property set far from the road.

First trip to Napa with the whole family
We brought our 20 something kids and one significant other to Napa for the first time. The property was in a perfect location and very comfortable. The pool and bocce ball court added to the fun and relaxing atmosphere. Communication with the owners was easy. Highly recommend!

Property is just as advertised in a great way. The ONLY caveat is some traffic noise from being on Main Street. Past that, it is a wonderful home a few blocks from shops and restaurants.

Perfect for our small group
My daughter and I and her two small children stayed here for 10 days. It was just right for us - a quick walk to town, close to everything we needed. We spent time at the nearby library, which has a wonderful children's room, and went twice to Sonoma for their fabulous children's museum. We also spent time at Crane Park and enjoyed amazing dinners at Charter Oak and lunches at Modern Bakery. Check-in was simple and the owner and manager were both accessible and helpful.
