Just another stay at HotelPosted Sep 26, 2014
Cons: The cable would go in and out everyone once in a while, but I told the front desk and they said the would call the company.
I have staying at this hotel for every business trip to the STL area for the past two years now. Staff is always so friendly, even when I checked in at 11pm this time. The area is just so warm and comforting with great restaurants around the area. This time, my coworker went with me and she just raved about the hotel when we left saying the next time she comes out to visit, she is staying here! Every time I have recommended The Wildwood Hotel, everyone has been impressed.

Great value-handy amenitiesPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Clean, nice decor and pet friendly.
Cons: Get AC with a thermostat so you can have it automatically come on and off, it was noisy to have the fan running all night long.
Location: Nice selection of restaurants, fast food, grocery store within walking distance. Free parking. Cinemas across the street.
The Wildwood is a nice, relatively new hotel 30 minutes to so west of downtown St. Louis. It is in a new area with restaurants, fast food, grocery etc and a movie theater across the street. The room was very generously sized, fridge and microwave included. The bathroom was also spacious and everything was very clean. The bed was super and finally parking was free. They were very pet friendly and had a reasonable ($15) charge. The AC was a bit noisy and it was either on or off, no thermostatic control on the fan. Also it was very easy to hear the sounds from the room above. Overall, a nice place for a family or couple, with pet on their way across the country.

Beatiful hotel is peaceful setting.Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Accomodations are first class and very clean. Pool and hot tub are nice and the breakfast is better than most other places. Staff is great!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk called after we got settled in our room to see if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Hotel is beautiful and in a quiet area, yet you have easy access to all parts of St. Louis. Will definitely stay with them again.

Great stayPosted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: very clean and nice, people were very friendly
Location: The Location is a bit hard to find, it is in a small mall, but this also gave a lot of stores and restaurants near by.
Everyone was very nice and the hotel ran well. only 2 minor problems, almost slipped and fell in the shower, and the elevator is realllllly sloow

Wonderful staff but not so great placePosted Sep 9, 2014
The hotel was beautiful but there were a few problems. The hardwood floors had large scratches on them in our room. Also there was a refrigerator in the room that had a terrible order and it was broken. We had to ask to have it removed and the room sprayed due the smell. The room also was not that clean and it may be because I am a extremely clean person. One thing I can say that every staff member who worked at the hotel were very friendly.

Nice hotel, but not happy with customer servicePosted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: The room was clean
Cons: Better customer service
It was a unique situation. There was a bad storm that night and the hotel lost electricity. I waited a while but the room started to get too hot, so I decided it was time to leave. When I went to the front desk to check out, it seemed like the staff was very unorganized and didn't know what to do. A manager said that they would see that I would not be charged and call me when their systems came back online. By the following day I had not heard from anyone, so I decided to call the hotel and find out the status of my credit. Come to find out...they did nothing, I mentioned to the woman that I spoke with that I left my cell phone number on their paperwork, but she couldn't find it. Then she said I had to take care of getting the credit back myself since I made it through Expedia. I called Expedia that same morning to get a credit, and I have yet to get to my credit returned. As for the hotel, I'm not happy with their customer service and how they handled the whole situation. They definitely should have had a plan in place in case of an emergency like this.

Things to check onPosted Aug 17, 2014
The room decor was very nice and beds of great comfort. The rest room at first look was clean but after a shower I could see human hair around toilet base and behind. There is a nice chIr in corner of room but it crowded us in bed by window. But this hotel is a nice one better than some we have visited.
