The carpet needs a good clean . Room very small with the number of beds. Bathroom shower old and dripping . Toilet seat lose and no hot water. Floor dirty Good not great

The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond! The food was very good! Know that there is no lift and all rooms are upstairs. Also, the pub downstairs stays open late, so you hear music late into the night.

Breakfast had good choice but heard a number of guests complaining about food not being cooked properly. Needs a refresh of bedding, ie pillows and duvets!!

The Windows Window sill and skirting boards filthy I would think have not been cleaned for months we sat on table 35 next to the windows and it put us off our meal.Window in Bedroom the same filthy, We wondered how clean was the kitchen.

We were in room 10 which is in the attic ,anð how they can sell this as a double room, because of the slopping ceiling I had to bend over the bed to get other side .There wasn't a proper wardrobe, just a tall chest of drawers .The bathroom door didn't close properly, nor did the shower doors .I hate to think what you could do if there was a fire as the only way down is the main stair which is tight and twisty ,and the 2 windows in the room only had small hoppers that opened.The positives were the bar had a good atmosphere and the food was good.Will be back to Portpatrick but definitely not the Crown Hotel 😕

It waa great to visit a hotel where you had an ealier check in than other places. Staff where lovely and so accomodating. However when we entered the room the place was full of flies. The window was opened to obviously let some air in since it was roasting! But after getting rid of them we had a pleasant stay. The rooms though hsve very thin walls as you could hear the people next door chatting and could hear the tv but it didnt bother us as we where only staying one night.

Lovely hotel
Room was a big outdated but clean and linen was ver comfortable. Food (dinner and breakfast) at hotel was amazing. Seating area in sun was lovely

Nice Bar and outside table area, excellent menu selection and breakfast options. The actual rooms were ok if a little dated and a weird shape due to being up in the eves, I've had better hotel rooms for less cost.. Most of the staff were friendly, helpful and chatty with a couple of exceptions.

Wrongfully advertised definitely not what I expect
We did not stay at the hotel even though I paid for it in full including breakfast, the room was not very clean and far two small for a couple it was definitely not big enough for a dog, no air and no windows that you could open totally disappointed, they didn’t even offer a different room or anything, they just took the key and said ok didn’t even ask what the problem was, they could have a least offered some kind of compensation, not even a refund for the breakfast I paid for, would never recommend them , not a good weekend It cost me another £100 to stay somewhere else 😡

Hotel was not worth the £113per night. It was tired & is in need of modernism. We ate in the restaurant which had good choice & was reasonable value.

Not the best stay
The room was very cramped, I hit my head twice on the sloped celing which was all along one side of the already cramped room. We had dinner on the first night and the waiter spilled my drink all over me qnd when i went to pay the bill as my husband collected the car, they had added another couple's dinner bill onto ours 🙈 The breakfast was very good though.

Pleased at Port Patrick
The room was clean and pleasantly decorated with all the normal tea making facilities etc. The bed was comfortable. The view across the harbour was wonderful. The breakfast was good with a good range although out of the smoked haddock. Service was excellent with friendly, helpful staff. I would definitely stay there again.

Massive disappointment
More of a pub than a hotel, which is ok, but hotel part severely neglected. Family room was very small. Room WiFi not working and staff made no effort to fix. Food was absolutely terrible. We checked out early as so bad.
