"We stayed at this property for 4 days and 3 nights to celebrate a milestone birthday with friends and family. This place is huge! The main house was the gathering point for everyone and had a great family room and kitchen. We had some of our party stay in the Treehouse and some in the Sunset Cottage, plenty of space for everyone with some privacy for all. We spent most of the time by the pool and Tiki Hut. The hut had Bluetooth speakers so it was easy to play the music we wanted. Great location...

"First, we travel all over and have stayed at dozens and dozens of VRBOs. This property is just awesome!!! The pictures don’t do it justice. The views are absolutely amazing! We lived on the generously sized terrace for our entire stay. We so enjoyed the dock, fishing, kayaking and evening sunsets. The owner, Gary is very responsive and helpful! Well appointed home with comfy beds and great layout. Sugarloaf Key, the location had many advantages and we’ve stayed on other Keys before. Amazing...

"Rented the house for July 2023. Had a 23 Ft center console there. Clint took the time to show me the best ways in and out of the neighborhood, some fishing spots and vendors in town to help with a boat issue we had. The view is amazing, the ac was nice and cold and we loved the private beach to launch the kayaks and paddle board from daily. Great spot to relax with the family."

"We had a great time staying at Black Marlin. The house is beautiful and very well-equipped. The pool and cabana are fantastic! Everything was clean and well-maintained. The yard has gorgeous landscaping. If they do put in a dock to access the canal that will be great as right now it is not easy to get kayaks in and out. We rented kayaks and were able to get them in and out but it does require quite a bit of effort. But everything else about the house was great and we'd love to return sometime!"

"My family and i stayed at this property during Memorial day weekend. The rooms are amazing!! very clean and spacious. the pool was very nice, and they had live music and drinks. we had an issue during check-in where my card was accidentally charged twice, but the staff was very responsive and were able to issue me a refund upon my return. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any and everyone, we are actually looking to book for labor day.."

"Our family of 11 ( me, my husband, our daughters, their husbands and children ages 10 mos to 4 years old) stayed for a week at the end of Feb. The house was immaculate, views were breathtaking, amenities perfect. The beach/ocean was perfect for the kids, sand play, shell searches, and shallow water! We saw dolphins not far from the dock! Tom was fantastic and helped in every way possible from tips of where to eat, things to do, even supplied a baby gate to keep our lil ones safe! We all were sad...
