Staff were lovely and the rooms are smallish but we’ll appointed and very clean. Downside for me was the memory foam beds - I’m tall and need a firm bed so these ones put my neck out. If you like a medium bed and price range, it’s perfect! Check in is 11am-4pm

Very average stay for price paid. Nearly $200 per night for a TINY room. Upside was the private bathroom however there was mould in the grout throughout. Check in and check out were nice and easy. Front desk staff were lovely upon check in.

Stayed on three occasions within two weeks and was very well looked after on each occasion. Great location, comfortable rooms and well place close to The Spot and its restaurants and bars and the tram station giving access to all of Sydney. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful old building with great facilities. Rooms are small but lovely. Location couldn’t be better. Only slight inconvenience is that reception is only staffed from 11am -4pm.

The old fashioned glass in window at street level is completely uneco and offers no protection from noise and draft. And the shower while being a good shower has a loud high pitched whine

Dirty and Tiny Budget room
Pros: Great location. Small fridge and tea/coffee facilities, small tv, split system. Cons: Tiny dark room. Very dirty. Carpet had hair and dirt, bathroom taps filthy, bin rusty, grout had black mold. Double bed extremely small and very soft. Lamp lopsided and dusty.

High Cross is a great place for country people to stay if visiting POWH, it was reasonably priced, very clean, friendly staff and only a few minutes walk to the hospital. Luckily we got a parking spot otherwise parking is difficult but we would definitely stay there again.

I really liked the fact it was so close to the hospital , pub , shopping center ,light rail,parking , cafe's and restaurants. Exceptionally clean. Hardly saw any staff but they were friendly and obliging when we did. No close free parking that was stated on website but close payed parking in walking distance.
