Tarrega is located approximately 270 miles (435 kilometers) from Madrid, the country's capital, and about 55 miles (89 kilometers) from Barcelona.
It's recommended not to limit yourself to the points of interest in Tarrega because the whole region is laced with plenty of fascinating natural and man-made attractions. If you'd like to find even more places to explore, try the Bodega Castillo de Milmanda and Monastery of Poblet in the vicinity of Vimbodi, which lays roughly 18 miles (29 kilometers) to the north of Tarrega.
