Presented well overall, however, the hairdryer is very dated and overheated after a few minutes of use and the extractor fan in the downstairs bathroom was extremely loud. The amenities were nice, the spa bath was lovely and the washer and dryer combo was handy but a separate washer dryer would have been better.

They cancelled our booking without letting us know, lady was so rude, I told her I have got 2 little kids with me she said I don't care, book somewhere else..i will never recommend this place to anyone.

Place was clean, would of been good to have had the milk left in fridge and air con put on. Couldn’t get the one on lower level to work at all. Took ages to cool room down to sleep when arriving later. Milk was warm when collected with key.

The apartment we had was very tired looking and is in need of renovation. One of the worst beds we have ever slept in. There was painting of the exterior happening for the duration of our stay, which we were not warned about - painting happening near guests cars and the cherry picker beeping earlyish in the morning. They did give us a refund when we had to leave early though.

rooms well presented and well set up. Only steps away from the lake and somewhere to relax with a drink, snack or a meal. Quite property, didn't hear the other guests. Will definitely be back.

I liked that this property could hold a family. It had everything a small appartments have. Only fault I could say is the lighting in the bathroom was a little dim. But it’s not a major I would defnatly stay here again was a really goo

Hi Jo - thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. The majority of our apartments all have air-con both upstairs and down, and it was unfortunate that due to the late cancellation that enabled you to book with us this happened to be the only apartment available and is one of only 3 apartments that do not have dual air-con. Several guests book with us citing the inclusion of a year round heated pool as being a favourable drawcard. To this end whilst we do alter the temperature between summer and winter the pool remains heated. With the lake being just a short walk away this provides a great alternative for those hot and sticky days.

isappointed as booking didn't include iforamtion re disability issues so didn't provide disability unit or parking directly outside unit (asked for). Offered next door alternative motel accomodation but not in same league. Spacious and with what needed but cobwebs on bedroom ceiling, washing machine took forever but didn't clean clother adequately, couldn't get DVD player to work although followed instructions.Couldn't open patio doors. Chose property as had pool but this was out of commission for both days there. Somewhat disappointing overall experience.

Hello Daisy - thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. Issues regarding housekeeping have been noted and dealt with and I thank you for bringing this to our attention. As you have noted there was no request on your reservation for mobility access hence our inability to provide this for you due to the fact that we were fully booked for the duration of your stay. The washing machines do take a little longer than top loading machines but are provided for your convenience as is the DVD player and had we been aware of your problems with these appliances we would have been happy to assist. Finally - the closure of the pool over the days you were in house was totally unavoidable and out of our control due to a child having an accident which facilitated the pool having to be treated thoroughly and completely back-washed. We do apologise for this inconvenience. Please know that we appreciate your feedback as it gives us a platform whereby we can improve and amend our services.

Voyager Apartments are located close to Taupo CBD, yet far enough up the street from the main road to be quiet. Apartments are two story and ours included two bedrooms, a double downstairs with two single beds, and a extra large upstairs with a large King bed, and an adjoining ensuite - although this had a spa bath and no shower which didn't suit us. Downstairs included a bathroom with shower, a well equipped kitchen, a compact dining table and couch, and a washing machine located in a cupboard under the stairwell - which had a musty smell. Overall the condition of the apartment can be described as tired, with wallpaper off in places, paintwork needing attention, and decor somewhat dated. Sadly the biggest let down was poor cleanliness. A sizeable cobweb was present above the couch, and a musty smell greeted us as soon as we set foot inside. Although the smell subsided after leaving windows open for a few hours while we were out, I endured a full on allergy episode after spending a night there - and for this reason we would not stay again.

Spacious, nice pool (bit small, but lovely), good location, short stroll to lakefront & town. Apartment has all the necessary things you could need. Quick check-in.

Comfortable
Comfortable enough place. Getting a little tired. Great to have a seperate TV upstairs which meant that the kids could watch something downstairs while we watched a different channel upstairs. Roughly a km from town so a bit of a walk when cold. Uber is coming to Taupo in October so that will be good.
