WOW!! Hermosa!!Posted Dec 4, 2013
Cons: I can't think of anything. I love this hotel.
Location: Lots of restaurants nearby. I liked the one in the hotel just fine. Lots of shopping.
The view from the 15th floor was spectacular and the employees were so courteous and most were all bilingual. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and quiet. My family and I really loved staying there and have plans to vacation there again.

Pleasant stayPosted Dec 2, 2013
Initially the receptionist could have been more pleasant. The rest of the staff were very helpful and courteous, especially the gentleman in charge of the karaoke bar. The hotel was clean and comfortable with security. There could have been more tables and chairs at the pool side but overall the stay was good

Very nice hotel with excellent staff.Posted Dec 1, 2013
The hotel was very nice and right in front of the beach, but the best part of our stay was the friendlyness and attentiveness of the staff. Who all speak very well English. It is only about 20 minutes from the border, very easy to find. We are definitly returning.

Good value for your buck..Posted Oct 21, 2013
Good Hotel for the price, the old building is still nice and has the features of old town Rosarito. New tower is really nice but too modern for location.

Nice room with a view for a good price.Posted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: I liked the room, the shower, the view, the restaurant and the staff.
Cons: The channels (more inglish channels for kids) and internet
Location: The location was perfecyt, right on the beach and central to everyhting and close to exit of Rosarito
There are 3 hotels connected to Rosarito Beach Hotel, after reading reviews we stayed at PLAYAS.The entrance is nice, the staff was pollite and helpful. The room was clean, bed was comfy and we had a beautiful view of the beach and pier. There was a small flat screen on the wall, which had over 50 channels, though only around 8 channels were in inglish but what can you expect if you're in Mexico and it was fine for us sence we didn't spend much time in the room.. My seven yr old was okay with it too, he watched cartoons on spanish. The shower pressure was awesome and we hot water!! My only complaint was that I could hear a ticking from the air condition/heater, I guess from the room aside or upstairs of us ALL NIGHT, I eventually fell asleep after putting something in my ears. Hopefully that doesn't happen in all the rooms.. Cause other then that, for the price ($131.00) 2 beds, was not bad at all. Also the food in the restaurant was delicious, though to get your food took a bit of time.. drank meanwhile. If we stay in Rosarito again, I would consider staying there again.

No 1:hr15 minutes ,I call the manager and he's ended en 30 mm.i ask for towels when we left ,not only they took the old ones and do not bring any new ones..I will never go back there.

excellent location, but...Posted Sep 24, 2013
Cons: needs maintenance
Location: on the beach
sliding door closure was broken and tv didn't work. staff came and fixed, but this shouldn't have been necessary. comment card in room, had already been filled out - guess they didn't want to collect when the room had been cleaned.

Hotel with a lot of characterPosted Sep 10, 2013
Great place to spend a quick vacations in a legendary 1925 hotel with all the character of hotels like El Coronado. The peso is low so you will also get a great price on food and other items that you want to buy in Mexico. The view is great so do not forget to request a room with a view.

Great beach, but NOT a place for a relaxing tripPosted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is nice, but old and outdated. We stayed in the Coronado Tower (ocean view). There is no A/C, only a cooling wall unit. It was nice enough to leave the door open on the balcony at night, which was great, until the fireworks woke me up at 2a.m. There is also a nightclub right next door with loud music. Hotel service is excellent. Food is great at the Azteca restaurant. I was disappointed we did not have access to all the pools on the property.
