Ideal location for Rosarito

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Cons: Access and internet need to improve drastically.
Internet is rubbish. Have to log in EVERY time you want to use the internet. Hardly any reception in old building. Building and cleanliness was OK, not resort-like so you have to lower the expectations. Staff friendly. Hotel bar - SLOW service. Good location, beach, pier, walking distance to Papas and Beer, ATV and Horse Riding. If you're staying at the OLD Coronado Tower you have NO access to new building? Not sure why but its all the "same" hotel, so, be sure to stay in the NEW tower if you want to use the rooftop pool, etc

Buenas instalaciones, los cuartos no tanto

Posted Apr 6, 2015

I won't go back

I have stayed here on three different occasions because of the location, but they need to remodel the whole place. The tower on the pictures is now where you are staying those are Condos.

Ahhh.... Baja California.

Pros: Value and ammenities.
Cons: The tennis court did not have a net....we had our tennis raquets in the car. ;-(
Location: Great shopping,
We arrived on a Thursday the place was empty. We had the pools and hot tub to ourselves. The food in the hotel lobby was very tastey and inexpensive. We took advantage of the Mon-Thursday Happy Hour prices. On Friday, it started to pick up. There was definelty a shift in hotel patronage....college aged people began to arrive and fill the facility. Overall a great experience.

Nice hotel. Great location!

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Very clean and friendly english speaking staff
Cons: I did not like having to pay $3.00 each local phone call with 664 area code. Too much for a phone call.
Location: Beach, restaurants, shopping very close
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Most of the staff was very friendly. Everything is in walking distance.

Do it!!!

Location: Rosarito is definitely not America, but that was why we came. Some of the side streets were unpaved, there are people begging for money on the street
We had a fantastic time and a great room. Got dropped of by a taxi from the border. We were greeted at the door asking if we had reservations and were ushered in. This is part of the older building but it is charming. One line to check in so we waited. My wife went in to the bar and got us drinks while I waited. We paid in advance (in pesos on the AMEX). We got the PACIFICO TOWER which is the new building and a master suite. It was marvelous. The bathroom: Shower and toilet have frosted glass for walls and doors. I think a glass door in a party town for the toilet could be dangerous at 3:00 am. Everything was sparkling clean and smelled fresh. 2 sinks with modern fixtures and a stone counter top. The shower was nice, not too large but it had great water pressure and the glass was spotless. The tub is surprisingly narrow. I am not fat but ill have to be a lot skinnier to move around in it. The sinks drained slowly. The bedroom: It has a glass window into the bathroom, with open edges. Potty smells will come in and catch you sleeping. The bed is low but comfortable. The sheets and pillows were clean. There is a TV in the room. You get a couple of San Diego English channels, the rest, better speak Spanish. The bedroom has a closet to hang items, a safe and shelves. The doors to the bedroom slide in and out (pocket doors) to the living room area. Living room area: The tv is in an awkward space but we weren't there to watch it anyway. There is a mini fr
