We enjoyed our stay here. We had two rooms for a couple and teenager. The rooms are very cozy and the bathrooms utilize every square inch. But we were really just there to sleep and it’s a great location. Close to public transit and many great restaurants within a short distance. We liked being close to the river to take walks in the morning and my husband went for a run along it one day. Pillows were not great for some of us, so if you’re used to a big fluffy pillow maybe bring your own.

Good location. Located near Kuramae station. Asakusa station a short 10 min walk away. Easy to get to hotel from Narita airport. Near the Sumida river, Sensoji, Nakamise-dori Street etc. Lots to do within walking distance. Good transport links. Hotel room was clean. Friendly staff. Good amenities. Free pack of bath salts at the front desk. Free coffee machine. Laundry machines available and you can monitor your washing machine completion time from the TV. Bad: room is a little small. If you have large luggage, it may be a struggle when packing/unpacking. Dryer does not work when doing laundry. The incense in the front desk/lobby area was a bit too intense.

Perfect little hotel close to train station. Walking distance to Sensoji with restaurants, conbini, pharmacy and grocery shops around the area. Stayed here for 3 nights. Out and about most of the time during the day and always came back to a clean and tidy room each time. Room is a bit tight for 2 but for a solo traveller it’s perfect. Room has TV, basic kettle, tea and daily supply of bottled water. Bathroom is tight but you can use the furo and they have free bath sachets at the counter you can use. There is a small public bath as well which is a nice addition. Check in time is 3pm, check out at 10am. But they are happy to keep your luggage if you arrive early or have to leave late after check out. Pleasant interaction with reception staff the whole stay. For the value and convenience I would recommend this hotel and wouldn’t mind staying again.

It was all good. The only complain might be the breakfast (kinda poor). It is better to not include it and just buy food on any convenience store. The room and service, for the price, very good.

The hotel provides a basic logging and staff are very friendly and polite. The location is very good for some tourists attractions and good transportation access. There are many restaurants/bar/grocery shops . I’ve chosen this hotel for a public bath . Thus after check in at 15:00 , I went to the bath, but bath water was not cleaned and many dirty things were floating in the hot water. Since then I haven’t been there and used a shower in my room. It was very disappointed. 15:00 is opening time , and it should be very clean both hot water and facilities. Also the hotel provides disposal slippers without sealed bags , which unhygienic system . Hence I’ve thrown them away without use it. Breakfast at a coffee Kan is very good system , it doesn’t need a full buffet breakfast.

Close to several train stations& has a grocery store right across the street. There is also a restaurant on the first floor with very affordable and tasty food options if you don’t feel like wandering around— and many more options for food if you do feel like wandering around.

The hotel was slightly bigger (1 sq meters more) than the standard room compared to other hotels that offer comparable prices (e.g. APA hotel in the same area). The good thing we liked about this hotel is that they offered free flow of hot/cold beverages at the lobby area (coffee/cocoa). Another thing that stood out was that the mirror was the anti-fog type which is an added bonus for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights stay at Tosei Hotel Cocone Asakusa Kuramae.

Very clean, tidy, convenient hotel for Tokyo. Typical small size that maximize space use. It even has a "big bath" that we didn't go. Excellent location for transportation, food, going around, everything. It's a chain, and definitely worth coming back to.

We booked a double bed room. If you’re a large person, (tall or fat) the bathroom will be quite cramped. Your knees will probably touch the door when you’re using the toilet. Otherwise, great place for tiny Japanese people like me. 5’1” We went in late November and the weather was great (high 60s) but there was no AC in the room (only heating and a fan) so we were suffering from the heat.

Excellent, clean, and convenient hotel in Asakusa, 2 mins from Kuramae subway station on the Oeno line, right along Sumida riverfront. Wife went for morning runs along the river loop while I soaked in hot baths. If you want a quieter, calmer, more old-school Tokyo experience, this is a good choice. 10/10 would stay here again, staff were very helpful and friendly, nice relaxing public bath (gender segregated). Comfy stylish cotton pyjamas as well as lots of extra toiletries provided for free. Haribo gummy bears and biscuits available for afternoon tea :) Rooms and bathrooms are a bit cozy (small) especially if you are travelling with a lot of luggage but we are used to living in smaller living quarters and found it perfect. Really enjoyed our honeymoon stay here, thank you!

Had a lovely stay in this hotel. Though not in the centre of Tokyo, the location was still good. It is near 2 subway lines - can easily get to and from Haneda Airport, and a bus stop so getting around was no problem. Walking distance to Asakusa and the temple. And if you’re a keen walker - you can walk to the Skytree and Kappabashi street. Lots of convenience stores around. The room size was average for Japanese standards but clean. Would stay again.

Rooms are small but with what you need to sleep and rest while in the room. Rooms are super clean, in great condition, they have free coffee and small amenities for you to take such as toothbrush, shower towels etc. great service and location. Definely recommend it.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Even when we decided to not have our room cleaned, the staff left fresh towels outside of our room. This location is perfect to escape the busy areas after a long day but still conveniently located to several tourist attractions.
