Room wasn't cleaned properly. Marks on cupboards, walls, curtains. Curtains broken. Toilet ran on full flush. No chair. No table. No hangers. No hair dryer. No bible. Very very basic room. Fan and aircon good.

This motel is functional and clean. Reception was very friendly. Comfortable and clean bed, updated cabinetry, hot shower. You can't ask for more for less than $100 pn. A couple of small things that would make a difference are covers on the lights and a smoke alarm.

Great staff made tough stay much better.
Good locatikn, great facilities and very friendly staff. We needed to ask for a few favours to make the stay possible but had no issues. The staff went out of their way to help.

My stay was short but it was good. It was convenient for me. Check in was quick and easy as well as checking out. Bed was comfortable. I didn't have any cleaning service for the room I was staying at. I guess it's because I was only there for a couple of days. Overall it was good.

Nice spacious bathroom with good lighting. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bathroom needs more towel racks and exhaust fan. Room needed more PowerPoints for kettle, toaster, etc.

Good for families and convenient
The room was well set up for a family stay and had recently been updated. Easy enough to get to on the main road in to town and plenty of stuff nearby such as groceries, dining and fast food. Currently undergoing renovations (July 2019) which made parking and access a little tricky and limited but overall I would stay here again during renovations. My wife (and kids) were happy with the room too.

The receptionist lied to my face about being put near the rif raf. Next door was a lady if the night, 4 doors down were the public drunken loudmouths. And we were awoken during the night when a cop car pulled in for the 2 hour long domestic.

We thank you for your comments. It is difficult to reconcile them to the events of the evening; however, we do acknowledge that there were a couple sitting outside late, drinking. Had the incident been reported earlier we would have asked them to desist. We have a strict no party policy. We take the peaceful enjoyment of our guests seriously and do ask that all external activities on the property cease at a reasonable hour. We hope that your next stay at a motel is more to your satisfaction...

Very good prices, so cheap for 6person, we all stayed in same appartment which was really nice. Nice pool (don’t jump from the roof!)

Clean, comfortable room for a motel. Helpful staff. Only a short, easy drive to CBD. Parking a little tight, but I suspect the staff would’ve helped if I’d had a real problem. Moderate traffic noise but we were in one of the front rooms. Would happily recommend.

Worth for the price. Room is very clean and well organised. Although no designated parking spot for that particular room, hotel manager helped me for a safe parking spot. I am so impressed with the friendly and over competent manager.

Old motel with paper thin walls were you hear everything outside the room. Property is nearing the stage for the need of a whole renovation. Room was clean and had the standard amenities for that price range. Did not help had people in next room who talked loudly until midnight outside their room. Close to worse motel stayed in over 8 weeks travel around NZ and Queensland.

Wanted: budget price room at short notice
Choice of available accommodation was limited due to high demand in the area and our spur of the moment decision to be there. Room was basic but clean will all the facilities we required. Close walking distance to a local hotel and eateries. No noisy neighbours, no traffic noise, well located with easy access to an arterial road.
