I regret that I didn’t build in a day just to relax, visit one or 2 of the nearby (5 minute drive) wineries, and relax by the pool with the spectacular view of the Valley. Casa do Santo receives my highest recommendation. "

"This visit was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Portugal. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such kindness from our host Miguel. Located in the Douro valley surrounded by beautiful terrace vineyards, this property is truly unique. There is great attention to detail throughout the experience. From the kid’s mini soccer field, to the wine tasting, and the incredible dinner and breakfast, one night wasn’t enough to soak it all in. We hope to return to this magical place! "
