.....interesting.....

Let's just say this hotel is in a bad area. The first night I stayed there, at 2 in the morning a woman started screaming in mad hysteria outside the building. It was quite frightning and I was hoping it was just some tv show turned up really loud. Especially when she started screaming for help and some dude was yelling at her. Eventually, after listening for a while and wondering if I should call the police, the police and firemen showed up making me suspect she was injured. It turned out she was just mad. Probably on drugs: " THE FIREMEN ARE NEVER REAL. THEY ARE TURNING RED" ....YA..... So ya I couldn't sleep after that. The loud trains that come through frequently nearby, blowing their sirens constantly at all hours of the night, didn't help either. Besides all this the hotel itself is actually quite nice. Everything you need is there and they are very accomadating. Also free breakfast and I got 2 free drinks at the hotel bar. Yep. K bye.

Pros: Cleanliness, room size, warm pool
Cons: Customer service
Location: Very close to the University of Arizona
Definitely not a fancy hotel, but traveling with kids our main requirements are room size, cleanliness, and free breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. The pool was very warm, like a bathtub (I wish we had brought our suits, but I thought it would be too cold to swim.) we have five kids and we all slept comfortable in our room (two in the sleeper sofa, and three on the floor), though the lady at the check in gave us a hard time for this, but didn't forbid us. (We would have gotten a bigger room, but Expedia didn't give us a choice.) Be aware, also, that the breakfast is a sit down breakfast that you have to get a ticket for. This is probably an advantage for some, but for us (with kids) it's easier to have the breakfast buffet.

Nice hotel, pool was out of service. Staff helpful

Was a nice hotel, more modest than we thought it would be. Staff were very nice, pool had a chemical issue two out of three days. The diner on grounds was fine for breakfast and we enjoyed it.

Nice facility, close to train tracks

Uneventful stay. But I wish I'd paid more attention to the proximity to trains. I heard the train whistles loud and clear.

This is a great hotel.

Pros: clean, mic, restaurant makes cook to order free breakfast,
Cons: The bed was hard.
Location: Food on Speedway and Grant. Night scene on 4th Ave. Google Tucson events, there's always a street fair or something to do.
We stay in the 2 room suite for a staycation every few months and its a great place to relax. Jacuzzi and heated outdoor pool are kept clean. Rooms are usually cheaper on Expedia.

Location: The Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park and the Tucson Art Museum.
Our room was clean. The staff were especially helpful and pleasant. The free breakfast and the personnel were appreciated.

Great service in okay hotel

Julio was the best thing about this place. Near U of A & the 10 fwy, but the area is a bit shabby. The breakfast included is okay (choice of 10) but cuts off at 9. Warm pool, comfy bed and chair, frig in room all good. Thinnest tp ever.

Clean hotel with comfortable beds & great staff

Posted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: We liked its decor and cleanliness.
Location: The location was convenient to the University which was our main reason for going to Tucson and it was also close to stores and parks.
Everyone was very courteous and helpful. Staying at a new place is always a little odd but the hotel staff and serving staff at the restaurant were very friendly and engaging in conversation. The food was good too!
