The units at the Casitas were spacious and attractive, with all the amenities we could ask for - and a few we didn't expect, like a washer/dryer, laundry soap and dryer sheets, and a dishwasher.
The setting is gorgeous, next to the golf course and in the middle of a wilderness-type area, where one could expect to find wildlife popping out at any time. We did see quail, a tarantula, and a Sonoran Desert toad during our stay, but unfortunately missed the resident bobcat that we were told sometimes makes the rounds at night or early in the morning. We'll definitely be out looking for him next time!
While it is secluded and gives us the feeling of being out "in the desert," it is also very close to shopping, restaurants, and all the "city" stuff, too - and only a short drive to the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, where we love to hike.
We would definitely stay here again - and recommend it to friends or family!
