Take time out in Turangi - family friendly

This house offers:
3 bedrooms (2x queen and 2x singles + toddler bed) portacot plus air mattresses and a foam mattress
Open plan lounge and dining. A fire place keeps the house cosy and warm in the winter, along with 3 oil fin heaters. The kitchen is fully equipped (no need to supply your own dishcloth/tea towels) Washing machine and soap powder available.

All linen is provided: Sheets, pillows, pillowcases, duvets & blankets. Although there are no electric blankets on the beds, hot water bottles and extra blankets are provided.

Suitable for couples, families or groups seeking good affordable accommodation in this stunning region. This house is in walking distance to Turangi shopping centre, restaurants and bars and in close proximity (5-10 minute drive) to:
-Tongariro River, world famous for trout fishing
-Tongariro National Trout Centre

Supercars weekend.
Very nice and clean. Very helpfull host when we accidentaly locked our selves out. Really comfy beds. Great fire. Only regret that the Tv / Wifi would not link with our phone even using correct cable. Will certainly stay here again .

This was close to the main road yet still quiet. Everything we needed was available and the bed was very comfortable. We had been looking forward to relaxing outdoors but the weather was unseasonably cold. Fortunately there was a heater which quickly warmed the room. Would stay here again as it is so convenient.

For the two of us it was just right. Lovely to sit out on the rear decking to eat “al fresco” in the evening. Quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful starscape at night, milky way etc. Only a 10 minute stroll to the supermarket and the Tuarangi white water rafting centre.

The property was clean, tidy and comfortable. The booking arrangements were easy to make with no stress. As mentioned the property is by the main highway, so there is truck noise throughout the night. But didn't notice it after the first night.

The Bach was cosy with everything we needed. Loved the wood burner. 40 mins drive to the mountain, less than 10 mins to the thermal pools. We found the neighbourhood was mostly quiet (some noise on one night of our stay) and the road noise (as was described in the listing) did not bother us.

Really great location of the property. Really close to most amenities. Nice and quaint home. Everyone really enjoyed the space. Would have been better with 2 more heaters. Really great fire place. Made the whole lounge warm. Oil heater in lounge is faulty. Plug end-copper wire exposed. And 2 single bedroom heater not worling at all.

Great place for a family.
The house was very cozy. The wood-burner heated the lounge very comfortably and we really appreciated the wood and fire starters, making it easy to light. The beds were very comfortable with nice warm bedding. It is very close to the centre of Turangi with easy access to SH1. Although close to the highway we thought the noise was minimal, at not a problem at all.

Lovely bach for christmas break
We stayed in this house for a week. Very nice homely house. Worked really well for our small family. Handy to have feeding chair and portacot for 8 month old. House was nice and clean when arrived. Would definitely recommend :)
