A peaceful place with a beautiful view
Comfortable place, extra attention to the little things, like movies and books for rainy days, coffee and tea to start the day, comfortable furniture to relax in. The decorations made us feel right at home too.

Perfect Setting and Location
Property is neat and well kept. We were warm, dry and comfortable during our stay. Our host kept us well informed and communicated clearly with us. There were plenty of towels and hot water, wireless internet and direct TV. Kitchen had anything you could want cookware wise. We came down to quad ride with the Lansing OGs and the route to the trail we took is at the end of the driveway so was super convenient. If you're looking for a place to rest and cook in between activities you can't go wrong. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel, keep looking.

Mounrain weekend get away
This was such a wonderful stay. Very peacful and quiet. The trailer was immaculate. Plenty of stuff for cooking. Excellent fall views of the mountains. We enjoyed our stay very much. Fishing in the property. Once we arrived we did not leave the property until it was time to return home. Great stay.

Mostly wonderful
The place was great on almost all counts. Did not like the driveway at all. The first time it took two tries. After that we knew what to do. The bathroom could use an upgrade. Other than those items, we were very comfortable. It was nice and warm as the temps were dropping.

Feels like home
We spent a lot of time hiking in the national park. It was nice to have downtime at a place that feels like home. Reminded me a lot of my granma's house actually. We were probably overly cautious about some of the roads but everything was fine.

Fishing With the Boys
We so enjoyed a few days away and this property was the best! Very clean and the owners were so nice and helpful. My husband, son and his friend loved the fishing. Hope to return again someday!

VERY NICE GETAWAY
This was a very nice stay out in the country. We were only 20 min or less from Summersville Lake, it was so nice and peaceful. I recommend this location.

Nice getaway
The house was cozy has everything you cpukd need towels linens soap a full kitchen just bring food amd coffee ! The scenery was beautiful! We went to new river atv and that was a incredible experience we also toured the new river gorge ! We saw cows and chickens and horses on our ride up to the house ! Firecreek is a yummy place for lunch or dinner and there is a yummy ice cream place in Fayetteville called the stache! We had a nice stay !

Glad you enjoyed your stay! There is a lot of activities in the area to experience zip line, rafting, many beautiful trails to hike in The New River National Park. You will have to come again to experience all we have in the area . I’m am disappointed we didn’t rate five stars. Is there some thing that we need to do to fix that?

Kid free getaway
I could have never asked for a better place to stay! You have ponds on the property to fish in (catch and release) your right in the middle of all the attractions. Sitting out on the porch and not hearing anything but nature was so peaceful. The owners are so nice. Our weekend was just perfect and couldn’t recommend this place more.

Peaceful getaway
We stayed with our dog for our 24th anniversary. The property was so close to everything we wanted to do yet in the country with a large area to ourselves. The rental was spotless and had all the little extras you don’t expect to find! We found coffee and tea for the mornings. We didn’t cook anything but could have with all the kitchen equipment there. I have recommended this place to several friends that frequent the area and would definitely stay again!

Beyond highest expectations

A comfy, relaxing and private retreat. The rental was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the vivid fall colors in the surrounding woods and hills, the expansive mountain views from the front deck, and the solitude, while still being close enough to visit family and friends and nearby attractions.

Comfortable and quiet!
The home is a single wide trailer with a few years on it but has been well maintained and very clean, especially for the price. The home is well stocked with everything you need to prepare family meals. The surrounding property is peaceful and serene, We loved the view of the three lakes below. Hope to find time to fish next time.

Mini vacation before school started
Unfortunately we had some difficulty getting our Toyota Rav 4 up the driveway especially the night of our arrival. The stone is very loose and we couldn't get traction in the rain. Didn't realize it was a strep as it was. We continued the length of our stay with turning off traction control to make it up. The reviews really talked about a deep cleaning on the interior. It could use deeper cleaning or just a wipe down on bathroom above entry door and the ceiling vent. The push button light switch you had to keep pushing hard to get the light to turn off. The bathroom shower doors do not fit the tub when you close them. We didn't want water to come out and there is a large space to allow that with them not being flush. The exterior was not exactly as pictured. That picture on the website had to be when the house was first put on the lot. The TV was a little hard to get channels found so we just watched Netflix on our in night. Don't get me wrong it's a good location that was close to us going whitewater rafting and ziplining. I have just traveled so much and know what certain cost can get you. The owners were quick to respond when needed. We had some friendly dogs visit. We never made it to a nearby pond however there is one at the bottom of the property.

So sorry our home didn’t met your standards. I will update the pictures. The pictures are when we just put home in there yes. We have been booked so a deep cleaning is scheduled. The driveway is steep as I stated to when I messaged you directions. I can’t help people don’t take it slow and steady and spin up the gravels we’re all the time having to grade road because of that and we have had major rain fall this year also. The home is not perfect and is reasonably priced for what it is.

Relaxing getaway
My only regret is not going down to the pond for the catfish tournament! The weather wasn’t on our side so not much lake fun, but atmosphere was perfect. The house was stocked and ready for our stay, absolutely loved the place! The driveway as bad as said before, perfect location for this home.

Nice location to visit New River
The process was easy and the place was nice to stay. We had easy access to New River Gorge and Babcock State park. Based on other reviews we were surprised to find out it didn’t seem as clean as expected. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

A great restful spot
This was a great property to stay at while we ran a race at New River Gorge. The hosts are easy to contact and the property was clean and welcoming. I'd stay here again and recommend this property to anyone.

Location and accommodations were perfect
Landlord was near by which can be a great advantage but we never needed anything . The place had everything you need, including WiFi and TV streaming channels. The privacy was great and the deck had a beautiful view. The location was super close to the New River Gorge bridge. I would recommend this place to anyone I know ! Perfect for New River Gorge NP
Our plan was to visit New River Gorge NP, Hawks Nest SP, and Babcock SP. The house is within 10 miles to two, a perfect location for us. The information posted online is accurate. Most surprisingly, supplies are well-stocked, one of the best we have experienced. There were lady bugs and stink bugs during our stay, but it is understandable since the house is near the woods.

A perfectly pleasant place to stay, and the access to New River can't be beat. The home was immaculately clean and furnished and decorated in a very warm and welcoming way. The kitchen had any type of implement imaginable and the shower was perfect in terms of water temperature and pressure. The living room area was very spacious with lots of seating and the wifi seemed to be more than adequate. The information about the park made a huge difference in helping us to plan our days. The larger porch offered mountain views to the west which were outstanding and made for fantastic sunrises and sunsets; the stars at night were also exceptional. It was very peaceful and quiet. It was about 15-20 minutes to get to the Fayetteville section of the park and there's an abundance of hiking and other recreational opportunities available there. The Gauley recreation area seems equally close, but we didn't go there. Overall a perfect place to stay for exploring the New River or just having a quiet place to get away. I'd gladly stay there again Overall a fantastic experience and highly recommended

Great location for base lodging.
After the day of arrival, we didn't get a chance for another sunset from the porch. We were out all day every day there is so much to see in the area and we just couldn't beat the sun to get back to the house for sunset.

My friend and I came to the New River Gorge for a week of climbing and had a wonderful stay at this property. It was adorable and cozy in a beautiful and convenient location. Easy to find and super responsive hosts. The road up to the house is a little steep and rocky but in a Subaru Forester no problem at all. Kitchen stuff all works great, comfy couch, convenient to have laundry, towels and sheets and beds all excellent, we slept very well. A few ladybugs around but no big deal. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting.

Great for a weekend getaway!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this cute little rental! The property owners were great in making sure the property was lit up and ready for us as we didn’t get in until the early morning hours of our first night. It was really nice to walk into a well lit place. Steep driveway though, just a heads up 😉 All in all a great rental! We will keep it in mind if we plan to visit the area again.
