Ramada Barstow

We found the staff friendly and helpful with finding a good restaurant (and provided a $5 off coupon). The day we were there, updating was being done to the furniture in the rooms - definitely an approvement. Lacking was general maintenence and cleanliness. Some type of maintenance was being done to the dining room that required everything being taken off the counters. At breakfast everything was put back but the counters and chairs were still dusty, the coffee and juice didn't work and the floors and carpets were old and very dirty.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms were lovely and also very clean. The only negatives were that the pool needed to be cleaned as a matter of urgency and there was to coffee or working toaster at breakfast.

They were renovating the rooms, furniture was moving in and out. Our room was not ready. They put us in a room across from a family with a DOG. We were moved to another room. They tried to satisfy our request but it was difficult.

Hotel was fine. We needed a place to stay enroute from Las Vegas, and the Ramada Inn was perfect. Staff were friendly.

I stayed at the hotel the cat before my husband got stationed at Ft.Irwin. The hotel is in a nice location close to the freeway and shops. The staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel is in great condition with an exception to the bath tub which the porcelain was cracked .

Will do this next time- enjoy these trips with a midway stop. In a great hotel with a great price!

We stayed 3 nights at the Ramada in Barstow and would probably consider staying there again if ever in the area. The breakfast in the morning wasn't bad, a cut above just the typical plain continental fare. The internet in the room didn't work, so that was a bummer. The hotel could use a little makeover! Close to restaurants, and that is the end of town I felt safer staying at.
