Villa 142 is beautifully situated on the boundaries of a nature reserve - one of the very last areas of southern Europe to remain unspoilt by over development. It is surrounded by countryside and close to uncrowded beaches, the closest being Salema one of the most picturesque fishing villages on the western Algarve. Santo Antonio offers a range of activities including a challenging 18 hole golf course with golf academy and driving range, tennis courts,football coaching, kids club,gymnasium and a luxury spa offering a range of massage and beauty treatments. There are also a couple of bars and restaurants on the complex.
Villa 142 is ideally situated on the resort set in it's own private, secluded garden with a heated pool plus 3 patio areas which are ideal for BBQ's and al fresco dining. The first floor consists of a spacious, open plan living area/ dining area with patio doors leading to the terrace for outside dining. There is also a fully fitted luxury Kitchen with dishwasher and washer/ dryer.A seperate toilet is also located on this floor.The lower level consists of 3 bedrooms( 1 double and 2 twins) all with en suite bathrooms/ shower rooms. All bedrooms have patio doors leading to the garden and pool area with outside shower.
Free wifi is available throughout the villa and the TV has an extensive list of programmes including Sky sports and movies as well as terrestrial channels - BBC.

Sunny February break.
Overall a lovely break away at the end of a British winter. Gorgeous location, comfortable Villa. Decent communication with owner and property manager on the end of a phone (even out of hours when we struggled to get in). Recommended.

Great villa, great location! We’ve been coming to Parque da Floresta / Santo Antonio for many years and this is only the 3rd villa we’ve stayed in. We plan to be back next year, so hopefully that says it all!

Family stay at Budens
We had an absolutely wonderful week in Beth’s lovely villa. Villa is in a beautiful location, very quiet, stunning views. Central location to explore the Algarve, which we all fell in love with! Communication was brilliant and no question was too much trouble. The villa itself was perfect for our family, well equipped and the garden was really special. The only problem is we all have massive holiday blues and want to be in Portugal!

What a wonderful villa! Every day were enjoyed to the max with Algarve sun and great weather and also with all good conditions that this property offer. Excellent for a few days of rest between family and friends. As the owners, they are always available to support you with their friendless and hospitality. Hope to be back soon to repeat everything again.

Great property
Everything was great about the property, except the first day we did not have any electricity. The property instruction book stated that power outages were not uncommon, so we did not report it immediately. However, when we returned to the property after 5 hours, the power was still out. Once we alerted the property manager, she arranged for us to place our perishable food items in another rental property. Right before midnight our power was restored & we had no further problems during our stay. We were a family of 5, so the facilities were the perfect fit with 3 bedrooms & 3.5 bathrooms. Even though it was October, the heated swimming pool was used everyday. It is a fantastic property & I highly recommend it.

Great Villa
The property is large and well equipped. Offering all the comforts of home. The heated pool is a huge bonus and a very good size. The owner and management company are very responsive, making the booking easy and helping out when a small problem arose.The resort itself is beautifully landscaped and well maintained providing fab views from the many balconies at the villa. The location was quiet, but only minutes away from lots of good restaurants. The villa is located on the side of a hill, so at times we found it very windy (however this is nothing that any of us can control) and most days the low breeze was welcomed. All in all a great place to stay. Would most certainly recommend and consider again.

Beautiful villa with stunning views and fantastic host.
If you want relaxing, this is exactly what you're looking for. We've never hired a villa before so were unsure what to expect but it blew us away. The villa is clean and spacious with comfy beds and all amenities you'll need to feel like a home away from home. But the two biggest selling points are the pool and the views. The pool is a fantastic size and stayed a lovely temperature all day (at night, turn on the pool lights and it's beautiful to look at) with plenty of space surrounding it and possibly the comfiest pool side loungers you'll ever lie on. Lovely big table and comfy chairs too for poolside lunches and BBQ dinners, which we did twice. Three balconies upstairs all offer stunning views and one of my favourite parts of the day was sitting on the middle one with a cuppa early in the morning and just gazing across the land. InterMarche couple of minutes by car for all your essentials, Lidl 5 minutes in other direction, all very clearly sign posted. Salema 5 minutes drive for the beach and great pizza, Lagos 15 minutes drive for great restaurants and mooching about the marina. 1 hour from Faro airport and very easy to find. The final massive selling point is Beth herself. Fantastic communication from the moment you enquire about availability, you feel no query is silly and a waste of her time and she makes you feel extremely looked after. We'll definitely be returning for a longer stay next year and I can't recommend this villa enough. Thank you so much Beth and John x

Heaven is a place in Budens
I am not a person to normally take time to write reviews but feel compelled to do so following our wonderful stay in Villa 142. From the first requests for information prior to booking and for all other correspondence and assistance Beth could not have been more helpful. Exceptional. As for the villa itself, I cannot speak highly enough. Wonderful location, amazing views, the villa was immaculately clean, facilities within were first class, large comfortable beds, gorgeous pool area, lovely barbeque and well kept gardens. We could not have been happier. Out and about there is a supermarket 5 mins drive away and Salerma is about an 8 - 10 minute drive away. Salerma has lovely places to eat and has a fantastic sandy beach. Add to this the wonderfully warm and sunny weather and it was just the idyllic relaxing long weekend!

Fantastic Villa and resort!
We have just had a lovely week at Beth and John’s villa. Villa had everything you need, great size pool and views were amazing! Information and communication with Beth was brilliant and made our stay easier. We would definitely recommend and hopefully return to Villa 142.
