Our hosts, twins Doris and Christina, were gracious hosts. The picked us up from the bus terminal, and upon arrival to the house, gave us freshly made jugo natural, provided a map of the city and directions of where to go. After our welcome, we settled in to our delightful light and airy rooms, decorated by the mother of the family. The overall décor was a combination of antique furniture and collectibles. Doris walked us down the hill to show us where to catch the trolley and colectivo to get around the city and back to the house. The beds were very comfortable and with windows that open in my room, I was able to sleep with the air of Valparaiso wafting over me, awaking to the rising sun. Lovely. After a wonderful night's rest, we headed to the garden balcony (created and cared for by Christina) to a enjoy a wonderful and relaxed breakfast of fresh juice, coffee, bread, egg, ham, yogurt and more. So much food prepared with love and presented beautifully. If you want to experience a little bit of Valparaiso life vs. staying in a big hotel, this is a great place to stay. My friend and I had booked one room with two beds. Doris ended up giving us each a separate room at the same price which was wonderful. At the end of our stay, Doris loaded our luggage into her car and took us back to the bus station. Delightful stay overall. I highly recommend this B&B. Book ahead. The place was full each night we were there.
