“Excellent Hotel”

This hotel is extremely nice. The room had a king size bed a sitting area and a beautiful bathroom. The only negative is that is slightly far to walk to the monuments. The staff was very helpful in recommending an awesome Italian restuarant (Dino's). We ate at the restuarant in the hotel one evening. Good French food. A little pricey, but worth it.

“A very pleasant hotel”

The hotel has friendly & efficient staff. The facilities were excellent and the room & communal areas were kept spotlessly clean. Our room was very comfortable with good facilities. There are plenty of places to sit & read quietly and the bar is pleasant with a pianist performing in the background. Our stay was restful, comfortable and hassle free.

“Good Hotel”

It is very good hotel.Clean,tidy,friendly,etc.. Location is very convenient.Two blocks to Dupont Circle Metro.Restaurants nearby.Parking is a bit expensive($30.00/day) and your car is taken care of by hotel concierge people so every time you want to use your car you have to wait for a while.But people there are very kind. Would stay there again if visiting DC again.

Beautiful hotel just a block from Dupont Circle. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Loved the room decor, big bathroom, comfortable bed and gym equipment. Plan to go back whenever I am in DC.... would highly recommend!

“Excellent Location!”

About me: Never been to DC. Wanted to spend a long weekend leisurely visiting all of the main attractions. I'm not picky about accommodations. Main concern is cleanliness and excellent location. I like to walk and take public transportation when necessary. This hotel is about a block off of the Dupont Circle and just a couple of blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro stop. Dupont Circle is a pretty area with a good amount of shopping, restaurants and bars. From my hotel, I could walk down to the Mall everyday to see the Smithsonian. The walk takes about 15-20 minutes at a somewhat brisk pace. For me, this hotel was definitely in the best location! The hotel itself was very clean and well-decorated. It's far more posh than what I need since I barely spend any time within hotels anyways. Oh yeah, there is a free business center with internet access and printer. That's really important to me. Unfortunately, I don't think wi-fi in the rooms were free.

The restuarant was faboulous. Rooms were roomy and very clean. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

“Brilliant Hotel, very luxurious and clean”

This hotel was fantastic. The check in staff were very helpful and upgraded us to a bigger room as we were travelling with 2 children. The room was very clean, fresh and you were happy to spend time in the room. Location on Embassy row is great and there are many restuarants close by. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Washington DC.

The Fairfax Hotel is a great place to come back to after a day of seeing the sights of DC. Its location is convenient and offers great restaurants and ambience that feel like you're part of a neighborhood in a major city.

“Amazingness”

This place was like soooo amazing! Very nice people. Seemed like they had a taxi service because one was waiting as soon as we wanted one. I had actually forgotten my phone charger and the conceirge even found me one to use! He was like totes awesome! Even the cleaning staff was fantastic! And the room was really nice; wish I had stayed there longer....
