Nice Hotel with character
Came for an overnight stay, were settled into our room fast and given internet access for free. The area was quit until the neighbouring property started mulching trees, there were books with lists of restaurants and other conveniences provided and the use of sky tv, coffee tea etc. Everything in the room was neat and well presented, the room was clean. Bed was comfortable and showers water pressure perfect. Only downside to the room was the fridge made running noises throughout the night and the toilet would occasionally start to drip then the tank would fill.

All Good apart from wi-fi
Staff were very polite and friendly. Parking was adequate, Doesnt have a sink in the kitchen which I found weird and the free wi-fi was abit patchy which can be annoying(would of scored higher if wi-fi was better) but overall fit my needs (overnighter for work) perfectly.

Clean and comfortable but noisy
Stayed four nights - Motel is in a convenient location for driving into Whangarei or further north. Although the motel is dated, the room and linen were clean and with comfortable beds. . Helpful, friendly people. It is on a busy road making access into and out of the driveways tricky, would help if foliage was cut away from the exit drive. There was a lot of road noise at night.

Stayed here for a couple of days over Xmas when it was too rough to get out on our boat. Handy location, basic but tidy rooms. Pool, spa, bbq area. Would definitely stay here again.

Good motel handy to people we were visiting
Enjoyed the walks into the town centre and the shopping, activities and scenic attractions close to the town basin. Very helpful staff at the Hub information centre..

Won't be going back.
I had one of the older rooms, the bed was a squishy nightmare that hurt my back and the pillows were like rocks, resorted to using a rolled up jacket as a pillow so my ears wouldn't ache. Shower head is so low had to squat to wash hair and the water pressure and temperature were so pathetic I have never been so angry at a shower, it really set me up for a terrible day with a sore neck and back and a level if grumpiness that can only be achieved by a terrible night sleep which was not alleviated by the roar of trucks passing by the single glazed window all night. Room dressings were nice, they have clearly tried to improve the room but the bed needs to be thrown out especially for the rates they charge.

Sorry about the shower head, and the water pressure could be low at the busy time. We have many guests who love our comfy soft beds, but sorry to say that we are not your type. Spare soft pillows are in the wardrobe in every rooms. The roadside windows are hush proof glasses, not the generic glass, you could sleep well if you lock the windows firmly, but sorry for the most convenient location of our motel by the road.

Very tidy, friendly staff, swimming pool and spa for the kids to play in. Heaps of room in the units with everything you need to cook a meal.

Under new management.
The new manager provided very good service and was very prompt and helpful when his services were required. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there, but not enough car parks and I don't think this could be overcome because of the limited space. Some of the rooms were a bit close to the busy road but we had no traffic noise from our unit.

It was a comfortable stay although the road was very busy outside. My daugthers really enjoyed the pool and spa pool and we spent many hours relaxing in the spa pool. Overall it was very clean, comfortable and a home away from home.

Whangarei visit
Noise from neighbourly revellers not motel guests were a greater disturbance than the main road traffic. Owners were very helpful and friendly and I can personally recommend Shanaz for a superb curry which we had delivered. Trip to Whangarei Heads recommended. Pity Hotels .com don't answer my emails or give me my refund yet!

A little old fashioned but clean
The unit was a reasonable size, clean, and quite convenient. The one thing that would stop me from going back is the polyester sheets and bedding. I particularly dislike this, especially in summer; it's cheap and nasty, and unpleasant in warmer weather.

It was just ok if not for the hot water,wifi and the noise from cars driving on the road that will not make you sleep at late in the night it would have been good. The motel was very very very clean I would give them that for an old building and the owners are nice people nothing is too much for them to do for you . I suppose if you are 1 or 2 person in the room the hot water problem will not arise. We were four and by the time the third person bathed you have to wait for over an hour for the water to heat up again that I did not like.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Asure Cherry Court motor lodge. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the bed was so comfortable we wished we could take it home with us. Definately recommend it for a nice comfortable place to stay for the prove

Nice apartment and lovely owners.
We had a lovely stay here but if it were any hotter it would have been uncomfortable. There is no air-conditioning but with the windows open it was ok. It was quite humid during our stay which made it feel hotter. This is a spacious, lovely place to stay for a family of 4. We had plenty of room and really enjoyed our accommodations.
