Please be aware that the photos are not an accurate representation of the hotel. It seems like they took a run down motel and threw in a kitchen, new furniture and light fixtures.... The rooms are all dirty (especially the bathrooms). The first room I had was so filthy that I had to request a room change.. Even my 9 year old complained about the filth...The staff at the hotel were very nice but that's about it. This was our first trip in years and this hotel was a real bummer!

Will definitely stay again if in the area. A little disappointed that ob Sunday,the day we were leaving,had to wait until 8:30 for breakfast because someone had called in sick.

My room had fleas! The front desk workers did not seem too concerned but I was at least able to move to a different room. The second room was next door to a barking dog that barked until 1:30am, and people were slamming their doors in the hallway at 4am. Do not recommend!!

The room was not as big as the pictures made it appear. The phone was not working. For 3 people in the room I had to go ask for enough towels and toilet paper on the first night we got there. Was 1/3 of a roll. Didn't know how the heater worked so I had to get blankets due to being cold. Then realized the control was on the wall. Work on the breakfast, taste were not there. Bed was comfortable though.

The entire hotel other than the lobby reeked of weed and cigarettes. The room was very clean and decent. The power was out for almost 6 hours. It was hot as can be and started to smell of old cigarettes. No where else in the area was without power as I checked the outage map on duke energy and we went to a Walmart and restaurant right across the road that had power. The breakfast was terrible and we were watched and rushed by the gentleman running it. Overall it was a terrible trip with 3 kids and the only decent parts were the clean lobby and updated room.

The whole experience was better than I hoped for from the moment we checked in with Sam, we felt more like family and that we belonged there. The rooms were spacious and had a small kitchen which was perfect for our stay. Sam was gracious and always asked if we needed anything even when he wasnt behind the counter. He was friendly and welcoming. Definitely made the stay fun and made us feel at home. It felt more like a small apartment than an actual hotel. Definitely would recommend to anyone who needed a place to stay for a short or longer term
