Quiet, Peaceful Country Home
We had the best stay!! It was so quiet sitting on the deck every night. Stars galore! Owner was very friendly and great with communications. Several good restaurants in town. Beds are comfy and plenty of room, plenty of dishes. Definitely 10 out of 10 stars!! Would highly recommend if you want to float the Buffalo or visit Branson or just want some peace and quiet.

This was our third stay at Our Happy Place and as always we enjoyed it. Though our days were busy with meetings and errands, we enjoyed coming back to the peaceful place. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to travel with or without pets.

Cute farmhouse
The farmhouse was in the country but close to Yellville. We saw deer in the yard a couple of times. Nicely updated without losing the charm. We’d definitely stay here again.

Wonderful 2nd time visit!!
Stayed here for the 2nd time and again had wonderful visit to Arkansas. Kayaked the White River this time as Buffalo was low and used Riley's Outfitters on host recommendation. It was amazing...caught trout and was able to grill them on the back deck of home. This is such a cozy little house and our dogs loved the yard!! Thank you, Michael, and we will see you again in the future!!

The Happy Place
We liked the location for kayaking. Also very private and had fun watching a deer eat apples from a tree AM and PM. Very clean and new like. Very good A/C. Nice to have 2 bathrooms. Everything we needed to stay was there. We would definitely stay there again.

18th Wedding Anniversary Buffalo Float
This old farm house was super cute with lots of character and charm. Beds were comfy and kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed. Area was quiet and relaxing. My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful float on the Buffalo River to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. Host was very helpful with float and restaurant recommendations. Check in/out was easy and host was prompt answering any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy Place in a Great Location
Two bedrooms and two baths made up this cozy cottage. The location was perfect for our canoe trips on the Buffalo River. Lots of amenities in the kitchen. One bed was a little firm. One bathroom seemed to be designed for smaller people. Quiet with a nice view.

Most Amazing Peaceful Getaway
Absolute heaven in Arkansas! This cottage fit our family's needs perfectly. While my husband, teenager daughter and her friend enjoyed the 2 BRs and the 2 Bathrooms (always a plus with a 17 yo teen), our dogs loved it even more! They were able to run in the backyard and explore the countryside, which was all new to them, being "city folks"!😊 The washer/dryer was so appreciated after being out in nature every day and we loved the cottage charm, especially the adorable kitchen with its side bar counter for extra space! The outside deck provided privacy for us to unwind at night and listen to music and gaze at stars! The wildlife sightings were also prime! We saw a horned owl one night right outside our window....it watched us with curiosity as we did back! Many deer also roamed freely in the yard and roads. Michael, the host, is amazing and provided us with local tips on where to go and what to do. The places she suggested we go were beyond describable and will privide us with memories we will never forget! The Buffalo River is right down the road for canoeing, eat at Crawbillys in Gilbert for NOLA seafood (dry county but you can bring your own adult beverage), Kelly's slab during weekday for fishing and chilling, OK Trading Post for great horseback riding in Mountain View and Laura's Mexican in Yellville was spot on for authentic Mexican food! Best day for me was the private beach we discovered after her listening to Michael 's tips! Even though it is a bit of a hike, the view, private swimming hole and therapeutic waterfalls provided us with the lasting effect of a peaceful calm...the goal of our vacay from day 1! We were seeking this all week long away from the hustle & bustle of the city and to provide memories as a family before our daughter starts her SR year and begins to move towards college and adulthood! I am already trying to figure out when we can go back next spring and stay longer!!! Thanks to you, Michael, for making our vacation one of the best in the books!!!!!

Quite little cabin in woods.
My family traveled up to area to enjoy what this area had to offer. This cabin was a great little house with plenty of character. Wildlife was all around. Area was not traveled at all hours. Only a few vehicles passed, which made for very peaceful nights and morning. Sat out on back deck and watch the deer with coffee. Only issue we had was front door wouldn’t latch right but with the area felt safe. And I am sure the owners will have fixed in no time. And we were close to so many things to do. Hiking, Rivers and some many great little shops in area. Would definitely stay here again.

The Cozy Cottage was everything we wanted & more!
This was our vacation happy place & we loved it! Centrally located within minutes of Buffalo & White River & Bull Shoals Lake! Close to town but still secluded w/ lots of peaceful privacy! We loved the old feel of the cottage w/ all updated amenities ! Very clean & the host was very accommodating! 💖

Perfect quaint little place
We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this fit the bill perfectly! Everything was pristinely clean, welcoming and adorably decorated and well stocked. It felt more like staying at a friends house that a vacation home. From fire wood, to propane to extra soaps, we were well cared for! We will definitely stay here again! (Not advised for folks over 6’ tall ;)

We loved our stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a great location giving us privacy but also with easy access to everything. The home was very cute, well stocked, well decorated, and clean! The only suggestion I have is replacing the mattress in the first bedroom.

Great Stay
This little farm house is the perfect place in Yellville. Less than 10 minutes to town but you feel far away. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated, very warm and inviting. Thanks for letting us bring our fur baby. That was a huge plus. Michael is quick to respond to any questions or needs. Thanks so much for being great hosts!!

Very relaxing environment
The space is decorated so welcoming and comfortable. There are plenty of little touches that make the cabin very homey. The beds were very comfortable, one was very firm, the other not as much, which was perfect for us. I was extremely impressed at the cleanliness of the place. That’s not always the case with all short term rentals!! I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Quaint country cottage
This is a very comfortable, clean, country cottage, supplied with everything you need. It sits on a large lot far enough out of town to be very quiet. I greatly enjoyed viewing the stars at night. It is on a gravel road which was dusty, but if it were closer to town, you would lose much of what makes it special. They have many games available for children.

A Relaxing Place--so quiet and peaceful.
The house was immaculate and overall was a very pleasant place to stay. A few suggestions to make it more user friendly would be: Towel holders or hooks in the bathrooms, (there are plenty of towels in both bathrooms but no place to hang them), also maybe some hooks in the bedrooms since the closet is down the hall, a list of TV stations and instructions on operating the TVs would be really helpful, more silverware and china and glasses would eliminate having to run the dishwasher every day. These are things that we've seen in other places we've stayed that just make it a bit more convenient. Check the range in the kitchen--the broiler doesn't work.

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint farmhouse. It was clean and fairly quiet. It is also centrally located between the lakes and the Buffalo river. We recommend this property for a nice time.

Excellent Family Visit
I rented this property while visiting family in the area. The attention to details for this property goes above and beyond. It has charm and an abundance of amenities. The space was perfect for an adult and two teenagers. We utilized the fire pit, gas grill and disc golf when family visited. The owners answered all questions in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

Cozy Cottage in great location!
The cottage was wonderful and in a great location. We were able to travel to the Buffalo River, White River, Bull Shoals, and Kelly's Slab for some outdoor fun. Of course we traveled to Mountain Home for a little shopping. Dont forget to stop by Michael's Boutique Ooh La La Yellville for a little more shopping.

Nice getaway
This location is tucked away from town and in a scenic area. The nearest grocery is about 3 minutes away. However, Waze will change the address on you when navigating! Double check the street or you might have a strange experience meeting new people

The cottage was charming and very clean. It had everything we needed. We stopped to purchase a few grocery items and made breakfast each morning before heading out to hike or fish. The area is extremely serene and made for a peaceful getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed the State Parks that were all around as well as the White River. Fishing was a great success as well. Already planning our return.

This was a much needed getaway for myself and the hubs. When we first arrived and opened the front door ,immediately we could see and smell how CLEAN it was and COZY indeed. Beautiful and accommodating!
We had a great time! We had to change our dates and the owners were so nice and accommodating. We watched "Finding Dory" the first night from their provided DVDs. They also had Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Cable, and everything we usually watch. Our 3-year-old had a great time. The place was so nicely set-up and decorated with everything you need. If we are ever in the area again, we would stay here again.

My wife and I needed a relaxing and peaceful weekend, and that’s exactly what we got. Cabin was stocked with literally everything we needed. It’s only a 5 minute drive to town, tucked away like you’re the only one around. The beds are comfortable and the cabin and yard are decorated with River Charm. We will absolutely be back.

Comfortable Cottage
We found the completely renovated Cozy Cottage to be very nicely decorated with all the amenities of a home. The host went above and beyond to stock the house to make guests feel comfortable. There was even baby body wash, a thoughtful touch. There was one plug in outlet showing wires because the plate was missing., so we had to block it off from our baby. The house sits close on the front side to a dirt road. The dust was thick in front, but the nice deck and view in back were great.

Perfection
Simply perfect! From the wonderful owner to the location to the home decor, comfortable setting and incredibly comfortable mattresses, this is such a gem!!!! We just loved It, didn’t want to leave and look forward to coming back to stay! Oh and make sure to visit the cute shops in Yellville to include “Ooh La La Boutique”!
