"First off, the location is excellent. It is easy to get to, and easy to find. The area is beautiful and open, with excellent views of the mountains. On our first morning we were greeted by two bull elks as they worked their way past the lodge! The lodge it spacious, clean and nicely organized. Many local reference pamphlets are available, so you're never wondering what you could do. It would be hard to find a nicer place to stay in Maggie Valley!!!"

"This is a well-maintained cottage of recent construction. It has two large bedrooms, each with a full bath, and a large kitchen/dining room/living room between the bedrooms. It also has a spacious screened porch that is surrounded by forest. Indeed, the whole cottage is surrounded by forest in a neighborhood that is like the Wind in the Willows. It is a beautiful property, inside and out; and the owner, who lives next door, is helpful"

The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed to prepare meals but too many good restaurants nearby. We loved being able to walk to downtown. "Two friends and I came to Asheville on a girls trip and stayed in this new house. I was a bit hesitant to book it because it was a new listing with no reviews yet, but I took a chance because the photos were appealing. The house is beautiful! It’s a little sparsely decorated, but that didn’t really matter to us. It’s a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath which we were looking for to all have our own rooms and baths. 2 of us ended up sharing a bathroom because the 3rd full bath is 2 floors down where there isn’t...

"The perfect spot for our weekend golf trip with the boys. Plenty of games and entertainment for everyone to hangout and have fun. The beds were really comfortable and everything was clean. We plan to come back next year."

"The house is nice. The location is great. Beds were comfy. Kitchen worked nicely. Only advice is to be very careful out on the deck at night. The 3-4 steps from the upper to lower deck are very hard to see at night and no handrail to assist. Make sure ALL the outside lights are on for the best visibility of the steps. Dark brown steps on dark brown deck in the dark is not a good combination."

It was a quick drive in to Asheville, and we were very excited that you could walk out of the door and be only a five-minute walk from the Mountains-to-Sea Trail along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house itself was comfortably furnished, and the hot tub was great. The kitchen has the basics in terms of cooking implements, but guests need to bring their own staples."
