We couldn't get anyone to clean our room. Three days in a row, asking multiple times a day, and still no one ever came. Black mold all over the shower. Shower leaked from the 'sealed' portion of the wall and all over the floor. Noisy as freaking hell, even by NYC standards. Didn't feel safe at all, due to the numerous homeless people sitting right outside and being so close to the subway. Don't stay here.

This hotel was an unexpected jewel! Tucked quietly in the midst of all the action and two quick blocks from Central Park. As two women travelers we felt completely safe. There are 2 doormen/bellmen on duty at all times, front desk is near the door, the elevator doesnt work without a key card. I could go on! The room was a quiet soothing place to refresh between activities. The service was impeccable including excellent recommendations from front desk staff. I highly recommend. The size of the room is as shown in the photos. It's cleverly put together to maximize the use of this space and has a lovely bathroom.

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved the convenience of location . So many metro lines around. Also walking distance to most places we wanted to see. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are great too. If you can, get a higher floor as NY is so loud 24/7.

Our stay was excellent. Great location with lots of amenities walkable or subway right outside. Staff were friendly and very efficient. I would stay here again without hesitation. I am writing this in the hotel lobby whilst waiting to get the subway to JFK and regret not speaking to the concierge services. I have been listening to him guide and advise new arrivals and he is giving great advice. My tip is to use them when you first arrive.

What an amazing little hotel. Gentle, friendly service, classy but not snobby, quality through and through. I cant thank the staff enough for their service and we will be back. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough and so convenient for everything too.
