Enjoyed the pool, miniature golf, and the gym. It is a place to relax. It didn’t have as much activities programed and no night life at the resort. Besides that, the room was great and it was even better as we had a room right next to the main pool.

We enjoyed our stay on the property, our room was great and my kids really enjoyed the pool! HOWEVER, upon arrival after our late flight, shuttling to the car rental spot, picking up said car and driving a half hour from Orlando and arriving at Mystic Dunes (1am at this point) the entrance my gps took me to at MD was CLOSED. No one was working and only way through was with a key card I didn’t have since we hadn’t yet checked in. A sign out front read that it was closed and after hours and gave an 800# to call so I called in the car with my sleeping children only to get an automated response and no actual person. Again saying it was after the hours they were open. I was furious. I ended up having to drive around Kissimmee to try and find an open vacancy just so my kids and I didn’t have to sleep in the car that night and paid an additional amount to said hotel at 1:30am!!! Woke up the next day and drove back to Mystic Dunes and this time my gps took me to a different entrance of the resort. Upon checking in I told the lady at the counter what had occurred and she and another worker nearby looked at me like I was crazy and said I was wrong and they were opened “24 hours” and I had simply gone to the south entrance which was closed and not working at that time. Excuse me??? How was I suppose to know they had multiple entrances? Again I called the # on the sign and that definitely did not mention needing to drive to another location or entrance! This was a mess!!!

I have stayed at many properties in the Orlando area as I am a Tampa Bay resident and we like to use the Orlando area for quick getaways. That being said, I know how these hotels/condominium complexes operate. Even though we are using it as just a small apartment for the weekend, they use every opportunity to try to get you into a sales pitch to buy their timeshare When we arrived, my wife and I checked in and were told that we needed to go to the concierge to get our parking pass. This is their way of trying to have one of their sales people hook you into their pitch. I knew what was happening because there is no reason that the person that text you in at the front desk cannot give you a parking pass. I rolled my eyes, and obliged their request. I went over to the desk, and there was a woman there that started Attempting to talk us. I followed along In order to be polite, but then she started asking our dates of birth in more intrusive questions and I knew exactly what she was up to. I told her that I was running late for dinner and that I had to meet people. I told her I just needed the parking passes and needed to move on. At that point she got extremely quick and rude with us. Needless to say, I received my parking passes and never walked into the front reception room ever again. I had no need to nor would I because of the rudeness that my wife, my kids and I received. It was totally unnecessary. We will not be back.

The staff was friendly and very helpful ! The area is nice , and they do offer all the services you could need. I felt the room we had was in need of some TLC. It was clean , loved the washer and dryer in the unit, but the plaster from the ceiling was falling , tree he couch was uncomfortable, and the furnishings were just dated and not what I expected from Hilton . I do think the push to attend the 2 hour sales pitch is a bit much, and is off putting to do so as you have just checked in.
