"The staff was remarkable. The layout makes for a great outdoor experience. Drawbacks: the shower stopped working and the replacement room shower didn’t have any hot water."

"Wonderful hotel on the beach with sprawling pools (swim up bar included, could benefit from a slide or two- then would be perfect for families) and multiple dining options. The hotel and rooms are immaculate and the staff is super friendly. The beach is safe for swimming and has shade options but isn't the most beautiful- sand is fine but rocky in places and could benefit from lounges and umbrellas. The view, however, is incredible, with the offshore island keeping the bay safe and calm. Also a huge benefit that you can walk to the nearby marina shopping area with restaurants and stores and a wonderful cafe/dessert place. Overall a wonderful stay."

"I try very hard to give accurate reviews for the properties we stay in, and I almost never give a 5 star rating. I think it is very important to give accurate reviews so that people know what to expect, and can make good decisions about where to stay. I have had owners contact me, and even threaten me when I have left less than stellar (but accurate) reviews. But in this case, this property exceeded my expectations in almost every way. I am thrilled to be able to give this property 5 stars, and I truly believe it deserves this high rating! First, nowhere in the description that I saw did it mention that the condo has bidet toilet seats. We have these at home and will never be without them in any future home. So we were THRILLED to find that all 3 toilets had bidet seats! Good ones, too. So again, this was an enormous plus. This is a roomy condo with one of the largest and nicest balconies we have ever encountered. From the balcony we were able to see macaws fly by on a daily basis, and once we were able to see them from above. What an incredible sight!!! And, we were also able to see Crux in the night sky, AKA The Southern Cross every night very clearly right from the balcony. Tremendous views that we enjoyed very much. The beds are all excellent. This is one of the areas where many condo's fail. I'll admit that I'm a bit of a snob, and I enjoy the finer things in life. The quality of mattresses in this unit was top notch, and I slept comfortably every night"

"Maura was awesome to work with. She was attentive and prompt to answer any questions we had. The condo is exactly as pictured and we enjoyed the amazing sunset view from our balcony. We will definitely book again when we return to Jaco."
