The hostess was very nice and arranged cava upon our arrival which we enjoyed on the rooftop terrace. We watched the sunset and sunrise over the ocean and enjoyed delicious breakfast. "Hola,antes de nada decir que suelo alojarme en hoteles de 3 o 4 estrellas y tengo que decir que este "Hostal" no tiene nada que envidiarle a un 3 o 4 estrellas, es más, yo diría que en muchos aspectos los supera. Mas de un hotel renombrado quisiera tener las prestaciones que este "Hostal" tiene. La recepción pequeña pero muy acogedora,pero sinceramente, ¿para que queremos una recepción grande? "Properties condition and staff "

"This is a lovely place once you find it - it’s a bit off the beaten track. Nice gardens and setting but nobody there. The housekeeper met us as we arrived at midday but she didn’t know which room we were supposed to be in so sent us away and said check in was at 2. Our room was big enough with nice bathroom and separate terrace which opened onto the garden and pool area. Another couple arrived about 8.30 the following night and nobody was there to meet them. Reviews mention wonderful hosts but...

"Great location in Altea for the sea front and restaurants. 10 minutes hike up to the old town well worth it. Parking free at the small station nearby. Some great restaurants in the town. The room was fine but needs a 5 foot bed. Bit noisy but not bad as on the main road. The shower ,wifi etc were excellent. Would stay again. "
