"We had a wonderful time at Hillside Lodge. It is in stunning countryside (note there is a slightly bumpy 20-30 minute drive from Luang Prabang but we found this to be an added part of the adventure) with a great pool to cool down in either after a days activity or to relax around all day. "The breakfast is good; eggs any style, fresh fruit, toast and coffee. We found it to be sufficient and have no complaints there. The hotel itself is very loud and every noise is amplified. This is the biggest issue we had. Neighbors slam their doors at all hours, you can hear people talking/laughing. If they come in late, it will wake you up.
