“Wonderful VRBO experience! Owner was accommodating and responsive. The place was clean, organized, and nice location near downtown, trails, shops, and food.”

“This house is located in an area that makes it easy to get anywhere you need to go. There are plenty of great places for food and drinks that are within a short walk or drive. Some of my family members felt that the area was unsafe at night but I never felt that way during our stay. The house does not quite live up to the pictures. It needs a super deep clean and to be upgraded generally. However, it is quite a bit cheaper than everything else I looked at so maybe that is the trade off....

“We really enjoyed our stay at this Uptown gem. Our dates were 1st week of March so a little cold, but we did brave one walk down to the park and lake and it was amazing. So many people were out walking, biking and running: seems like a really active part of the city. I can only imagine how amazing it would be from spring -fall. We didn’t really utilize the house space because all our plans were out and about in the twin cities, but it has a full kitchen and dining room table and nice little...

“The house is beautiful and the wood work is amazing. The first floor bathroom tub needs repair, the tub is cracked and it feels unsafe to stand to shower. The kitchen did not have a can opener; which was needed to open the cans for our Green beans casserole. Thank goodness I live locally because I was able to bring my own pots and pans, casseroles dishes, can opener, and peeler. Also, there was no dishwasher soap and I had to do all the dishes by hand. Overall, we had a wonderful time.”

“Very helpfull clean house”

“Hosts were great. When the weather turned unusually warm, they offered to install a window A/C unit, but by the time I saw their message in VRBO, it was too late to have them install the A/C. That's my way of lauding them for keeping in touch and so I would only recommend that future guests check their VRBO messages early in the day and often during the stay. My only wish would be for a separate washer/dryer. The combo washer/dryer does not fully dry clothes and it's very loud when the "dry"...

“We were in town for a graduation. Very close to Macalester- convenient! Highland Park was perfect. Exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Our group especially loved the shower:). Everything went so smoothly and Dayna checked in with us to make sure we were set. Great experience!!”

“The check-in process wad easy and communication with the host, Brenda was excellent. She was quick to answer any questions or concerns that we had. We knew it was a 2nd level upstairs unit and the place was clean and cozy. However, the place was a little older and kind of chilly at times, and the floor boards were squeaky so we tried our best not to make too much noises. Not sure if the older heaters worked or not but we didn't have any thicker blankets to utilize to keep warm. *Please bring...
