“I was going to rate this place a 3 overall until the manager said he is going to keep my deposit over some spots on towels, grass on the tiles, crumbs on the counter, and a spill in the fridge that one paper towel would have fixed. He said THAT and the washing of ALL the bedsheets forced him to hire a 2nd cleaning person. He also tried to accuse me of having unaccounted for guests because "all of the beds had been slept on" (there were 6 of us and 6 beds, only 4 beds were actually used - but...

“The place was great, but a little bit noisy from traffic on the highway nearby. The host was responsive to our requests. The only big issue was the very skinny spiral stairs leading to the bedrooms. Fine for those under age 30, but maybe not so easy for us. We're all old and over 65. We're all in very good shape, so it didn't make much difference, but it might for some.”

“We live in Camp Verde and travel to and through Hunt often but have never stayed at Pigeon Roost. After months of watching everything turn brown from the drought and watching our own large pond on our property get lower and lower this was absolute paradise!! We have always loved Hunt and this is exactly what my husband needed for his birthday! It was so peaceful and so nice to unwind and recharge. The home and property are “Quintessential Hunt” which is exactly what we love! We love the antique...
