“The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Had a great time using hot tub and bon fires. The fire pit was stacked with wood, burned to t the at the first night. We had to gather wood from the wooded area in the back for other fires. Would have liked more firewood available on site. Very cute decor, loved our stay.”

“We were fortunate that Michigan weather blessed us! Great location but the stairs to lower level are a challenge for elderly (we are 70 and 74). Next time we would go for upper level! Even so, they are pet friendly and we had a small dog so the space was great and gave her freedom contained by steps!! Would definitely recommend!”

“What a nice little place! They had everything we needed! A hottub, a kitchen, and a quiet getaway spot to be with a couple friends. In the summer months, there's a beautiful pool, but it was just too cold for us in March. Loved the apartment, and loved how cozy & comfortable it was for us!!!”

“I needed a comfortable place to stay for a few nights. My days were packed so it was really just a place to lay my head. I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The unit had a completely functional kitchen and it was very clean. It’s an old building renovated into separate apartments, buts it’s very functional. Floors were uneven in places but that’s expected in such an old building. Bathroom was clean and there was great water pressure in the shower. I will stay here again.”

“Perfect weekend stay. Never took in the home’s amenities (kayak, dock, garage game haven) bc of our busy weekend agenda although the garage and firepit area was super nice. The whole house was completely redone. There were only 2 of us but had there been more of us the upstairs would be fabulous. Lots of space. Be sure to bring your own coffee, creme and sugar and a case of water unless you are ok with well water. There were plenty of towels and several rolls of toilet paper provided. ...

“There is a lot to like about this property, much of which has been mentioned in other reviews. We particularly enjoyed the deck with the large yard which provided a nice quiet place to relax. But beyond that, for us it was all about the location. It was wonderful after a busy day at MIS to return and have a very comfortable space to stay. “Good little place to stay. We didn’t get much time to do much on the property as we were there for a family loss, but if we had time, it was very spacious. Nice views of the lake. The home is a little out dated, but it’s a little town so it wasn’t something unexpected. Showers are smaller than usual, but manageable. Overall good little getaway for affordable price.”
