Beautiful old hotel in a great location; close to Charing Cross and Embankment Tube stations, Embankment ferry wharf and the theater district. Our room was great with very well designed bathroom with plenty of space to put our stuff plus a separate shower which was small but good enough. Breakfast was included. Not great but good enough and it beats schlepping around the neighborhood in the morning looking for something to eat. Staff were uniformly great. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Not cheap but worth it in our view.

I enjoyed the property due to the convenience of the location and the friendly staff. Additionally, I enjoyed the breakfast option every morning. The room was clean and kept clean by staff which was great. The couple of things I would comment on would be that the front desk should explain how the electricity and A/C works in the room to non-English tourists when they check in. Also, it would be nice if the morning buffet could offer some new items for folks who are staying in the hotel for more than a few days. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed two different times one on first part of trip second after going to Paris for a few days. They held some of our luggage for second part of trip and was placed in our room. Would definitely recommend this hotel for convenience and great staff
