“We had a great time staying in this cabin. Kim came kayaking by and gave us the courage to give it a try. She was very kind in helping teach our kids how to row the kayaks and just checking in on us. We did some fishing, took a walk, and hung out on the porch watching the river. The fireflies at night are the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. My niece loved catching the frogs. Staying here feels like you’re at a family lake house.”

“Lovely home & setting. Very peaceful. Lots of nice touches…snacks, popcorn machine, wood for outdoor fire & supplies for s’mores, breakfast foods available, etc. Owner very responsive, polite & easy to work with. Only complaint about the house was it needed a good deep cleaning. I’m sure it’s hard to accomplish this with the few hours they have between check out & check in. We did have issues with the listing on VRBO - when booked (almost a year ago) the listing did say events up to 50 people....

The AC is shut off after each renter so be prepared to arrive to 85 degrees and have to wait for the house to cool down once you turn on at check in if staying during hot weather.”

“We were in town visiting friends with family. There were multiple adults and we had a dog. The property is exactly as advertised. It is beautiful with white linens and it was extremely clean. We didn't spend time at the pool because we were visiting with friends, and it was rainy outside, but the pool area looked very nice and the property owner had just recently improved the deck. This house was a nice place for all of us to stay together and only 30 mins out from Statesboro with a very easy drive between the two.
