To start, it was very disappointing to arrive at 4pm (check in time is 3pm) to find our room was not ready. We had to find a mall to hang out in until we were advised it was ready 40 minutes later. The toilet ran all the time because the chain kept falling inside the flap that stops the water from entering the bowl. The toilet had trouble flushing, but someone came and fixed that. There wasn’t a vent or fan in the bathroom to help air it out. Then at 6:30 in the morning, my sister and I were awakened to someone trying to enter our room. Thankfully, I had not only used the deadbolt, but also the additional safety latch at the top so the person slammed the door open and it slammed back shut. I called the desk. They found it was the engineer trying to confirm whether there was an occupant in the room because of a discrepancy in the occupants records. Couldn’t they have tried to call first? That would have been an easier way to wake me up rather than freak me out that a man was trying to enter our room. The good parts are the beds are very comfortable, the desk help and the housekeeping gals were very nice.

I read the reviews after I booked the room so was a little worried, but the room and location was just fine. Rooms comfortable and enjoyed the pool. It was very close to the gym we were at all weekend. My kids loved the cookies and front desk was very friendly.

My room had 2 adjoining room doors that did NOTHING to limit noise and sound coming from the neighboring rooms. Sounds from neighboring guests having a standard conversation or listening to music sounded like they were in my room, which lead to being woken up multiple times each night of my stay.

Room was not fully clean. The fan extractor in the bathroom was not working, I reported this and they didn’t fix it. In the bathroom they left no body wash, I asked the lady in reception to please send and they didn’t send anything.

The staff was friendly when checking in made it very quick and easy. Couple minutes from the area felt pretty unsafe. The room smelt very musky like it used to be a smoking room or something and you can't open any windows. The security safe thing didn't work to keep our important stuff in. The plug for the drain in the sink was stuck in there so it wouldn't drain until we were able to get it out and when we put down a towel after showering the bathroom floor seemed like it hadn't been mopped in a very long time the bottom of the towel was almost black from all the dirt. The property on the outside seems very well kept and nice, rooms should be cleaned better and pretty outdated.

We arrived to join a group already here. The property was dated. The lobby has a sunken fireplace lounge. We received a ground level handicap room. The shower leaked into the rest of the bathroom, making the whole room slippery and needing an extra towel to keep the room safe to use. Light came in around the door frame at night. Breakfast was not included, although it advised as such when booking. While swimming a storm arrived and our group went under some shelter, but a gentleman joined our group. He made many of us feel uncomfortable. A member of our group went to the front desk and security helped with this. Staff was very kind and helpful throughout the visit.

Everything was wonderful! Transportation from airport and around Tempe was super convenient! Drivers were helpful, informative and kind. Front desk was very kind and greeted us warmly. Even gave my kids extra cookies which were delicious! We loved the pool and the quaint and quiet surrounding with the trees. Made us feel we weren’t in a busy city! Would definitely come back again!
