"It’s a nice looking villa but the super loud air conditioners all around make it impossible to sleep or feel well. Don’t stay here. The owner is rude and only cares about getting paid. He feels the guests should tolerate extreme noise. He could easily install new AC units."

"The outdoor area and living / kitchen space makes up for the fact that the villa is quite a way away from the beach and town. If you have a rental car, this will be no problem though. Wouldn’t recommend 7 people as there are only 3 nice double bedrooms (ideal for party of 6), but overall a great spot for exploring the east side of Rhodes."

"I've just got back from a fantastic week and how i wish i had booked a fortnight! The welcome by the owner was great everything easily explained, I felt at home straight away and thank you for the beers! The villa and location are perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet in a laid back location this is the place! The villa is well appointed, comfy beds, great aircon, spacious and well arranged outdoor space and a great size pool, all this just makes it a special place to stay. Its 10 mins walk to the beach and there's a great beach side snacks place I'd recommend the omelette and greek salad! A little further down the coast ie 5 - 8 mins drive there's another beach taverna and a couple of really good fish / seafood restaurants. You can also order pizza delivery to the villa! Although you can easily get a taxi from the airport its approx 30 mins, i would recommend hiring a car if you'd like to explore. You also have the best supermarket only 5 mins drive away so a car will make it easier to stock up, there's some great Greek wine! I can't wait to stay again thank you for a lovely holiday 😀"

"The villa Casa Via Mare was spotlessly clean, with a well equipped kitchen and all the accessories needed to dine in or bbq. Georgios was there to great us and show us round the villa. He even very thoughtfully provided some food and drink for the morning. The beach was about 5 mins walk away, good for swimming as it became deep close to the shore. I would suggest hiring a car as shops and restaurants are a reasonable distance away, and this will allow you to explore Rhodes. Overall we had an excellent holiday and would thoroughly recommend this villa."

"We stayed for two weeks as a family of four. Nicos at the pool bar, george at the main one, and anastasia who does so much to keep the hotel going, were all first class hosts The gardens, pool, and other facilities are first class! Despite the hotel being full, due to the amount of space in the gardens, it really did feel that you had lots of time, space, and shade to yourself. It’s on a main road, so the bus routes are very easy to access along with the beach which is about 15 minutes walk. Afandou village has restaurants, convenience, stores, and a range of other facilities, including a road train that takes you down to the sea. Where food is concerned, the main meals always have a range of items, including vegetarian, options, salad and fruit. Our children are quite particular about food and fussy and there were always options for them. There are a number of local tavernas around and nearby the hotel, and in particular I would recommend one, catholiki, about a 15 minute walk away, but very traditional and local food. It is a very chilled out, quiet and gorgeous venue. The accommodation is clean and spacious with balconies. A real mix of visitors from all over Europe, particularly. If you are after lots of entertainment and club style events, this is not the place for you, although it is easy to get to those kind of places either on the bus or by taxi, around 10 to 15 minutes. The atmosphere is a Dilick. Football, table tennis, etc. "

"Christina and her team gave us excellent service throughout our two week stay - nothing was too much trouble. The villa was excellent, very clean and comfortable, and the private pool was the icing on the cake. If you want to explore Rhodes you will definitely need a car, but we used taxis on the few occasions that we needed to travel. Highly recommended!"
