Conveniently located near plenty of Sarasota's shopping and dining, your new home away from home is nice and isolated, surrounded by gorgeous views and just a quick walk from the waters of Sarasota Bay.

High-quality furnishings and a mix of the retro and mid-century modern create a nice, pleasant atmosphere. Three couches await in the living room, with two near the fireplace and one boasting ocean views. Between internet browsing on the WiFi (there's even a study for telecommuters - just don't work too hard) and cable on the flatscreen TV, you've got all you need to stay entertained.

The kitchen has been recently remodeled, with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. It's easier than ever to cook up some appetizers to try at the breakfast bar for two, or a full meal to savor at the table for six.

Leave the dishwasher to work on cleaning up as you watch the sunset, before heading to one of the three bedrooms for bed. Between a queen-size bed in the master bedroom, two twin-size beds in the second room, and a sofabed in the third bedroom, everyone will have a lovely place to sleep. There's also a laundry room for your convenience.

Wake up and take the dog for a quick walk (dogs up to 50 pounds are welcome) before exploring the area. Between artistic attractions at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall and the John and Marble Ringling Art Museum, and naturalistic attractions at the Sarasota Jungle Gardens and Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, you're all set! Don't forget hiking - the Coastal Nature Trail is only a short walk away. And golfers will love the easy access to amazing golf courses. A few from the many in the area are The Palms (six miles), University Park (eight miles), and IMG (nine miles).

The Sunshine State is waiting for you. Book today!

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Sarasota retreat
The property location was perfect for us. We were looking for a place in the water but close to the downtown. The outside seating was ok but a fire pit or lounge chairs would have been nice. There are no amenities at the house. Bikes also would be nice. The bathroom are older and well maintained but note there are no power outlets in them. Overall we would return!

Extended holiday stay
The property is lovely; the view is gorgeous. It’s an old home. It could definitely use more amenities to make it more comfortable for guests staying more than a weekend. We were there 8 days which necessitated I borrow quite a few thinks from family who lived nearby. I wrote a comprehensive list for the property manager.

Beautiful house but horrible management
The house itself was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. There was a major plumbing issue in the master bedroom that inconvenienced our group. I placed a call on 7/24 and was told local office would be reaching out to me. I called and text numerous times after and nothing. It is unfortunate that this house is managed so poorly because it truly impacts wanting to ever come back.

Great view!
The house was clean and spacious with great views. The location was close to many beaches and activities; such as parasailing, kayaking and renting jet skis. I also enjoyed walking in the neighborhood down Bay Shore road. Very close to the Ringling Museum, which we enjoyed seeing. I did mention to the property management team some items to better stock the kitchen and beach items that guests could use would be really nice. Hopefully they will add these. One other note, it says it sleeps 6 but I don’t think anyone would want to sleep on that pull out couch! Luckily, we only had 4 in our group. A new bed in that room would be a very good investment.

Beautiful view
Beautiful view of the bay. Too bad it’s right next to public access, even though you can’t see them, you can hear them. When we initially walked in, the big spray smell was terrible, had to open windows immediately. We figured out why the bug spray, we saw 3 large cockroaches and ended up bringing one home in a suitcase! Furnishings of the home are mediocre, kitchen doable. We had an air conditioning problem, which was addressed immediately. Overall, we feel it is overpriced.

Beautiful home on inside. The decorations are beautiful and the beds are comfortable. Outside area is very nice as well with some area's needing improvements. The lawn is mostly some sort of thorns that stick to pets and/or clothing. The bay appears as if one can swim in it, and often this is quite difficult to do because of concrete wall and tide. The park, next to home, is actually only about 300 yards in length.

Beautiful comfortable spot on the water
Great location in proximity to downtown Sarasota and lots of keys/beaches. Water in backyard is gorgeous and perfect for fishing. Within walking distance to lots of coffee shops and other restaurants. Cozy neighborhood feel surrounded my magazine worthy homes. House itself is the perfect size for a family of five with lots of open common space. I highly recommend!

Great Views in a Great Home
Fantastic stay in this roomy home. Lots of big windows to see the Bay. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we needed: toaster, blender, good knives, stainless steel pots/pans. Really nice to be able to park in the garage! There was a table and chairs to enjoy dining outside and several beach lounge chairs. There is even an outdoor portable fire pit. Overall, we would definitely stay there again.

The views are amazing. Sunsets are incredible and tons of wild life, huge yard. The house is bright and decor very inviting and updated. Spacious layout, was able to work in the office with great internet service. Beautiful views of the stars at night.

Health hazard and not fit for human habitation
Smell of animal urine, washer broke the whole stay, blinds missing or did not work, never received back up keys, had to exit property two days early because of a rat in the unit. Service we received was non existent from Vacasa. We asked for a full refund and only received partial.

Pretty good
Constructive criticism...put a king bed in the master, move the queen to the back bedroom as there is really no need for a couch and desk in there. The grounds could have been better maintained..think about putting an electric blower in the garage for guests to use in between yard service. I swept the patio a number of times. Also, consider a gas grill. Kitchen pots and pans need upgrading and the knives are all super dull. Now the good stuff, setting was beautiful and proximity to downtown and stadium and beaches was perfect.

Beautiful Views
80% of the home has been updated, very clean with beautiful views from every window. The Living room has a large window with full ocean view. The house was equipped with all we needed in the kitchen. The property is secluded and very private but there is a public park next to the property so we saw several "stragglers" on the other side of the fence. The bathrooms need more updating. They were clean and parts were updated in each bathroom but still very outdated. Siesta Key is 4-6 miles from this location, which took us approx. 20 minutes to get there since there with traffic. Overall, we loved our stay and did not want to leave. Overall, we Loved our stay

Great view but with some house problems
The views were fantastic...beautiful sunsets, dolphins, and bird life...which made the stay enjoyable. The added perrgola was a nice idea, but did not provide shade. We love sitting outdoors, but, the intense sun made it nearly impossible. For the price of the stay, we expected more of the house. The living room and kitchen were lovely, but the bathrooms were below standard. There were no outlets in the bathrooms...extension cords were provided...which is an electrical code violation. Also, there were no exhaust fans, only ceiling heaters which we certainly did not want in the heat of the week we were there. It was nice having three bathrooms, two with walk-in showers and one with a tub/shower, but two of them were very tiny. The water was inaccessible from the house unless you want to crawl across coral, through excessive undergrowth, and avoiding exposed rebar. Also, the "beach" was not what I would call a beach...a narrow layer of sand at low tide in the tiny park next to the house...often frequented by locals who were also there to experience the gorgeous sunsets. It was nice walking through the lovely neighborhood along Indian Beach Dr. You will have to drive to the beach though. Overall, we were disappointed with the house, but we still enjoyed the stay due to the views and quiet mornings sitting outside with coffee, watching the fishermen and wildlife. The home is not up to standard for a vacation rental and the upgrades should be made.

Restful, and beautiful home
An older home, with mostly modernized features and a stunning view. A little glaring in the afternoon, without shades. The management was very prompt and supportive. Great yard, with an amazingly beautiful neighborhood for walks... 10 minute walk to the Sarasota Jungle Gardens, and the Museum of Art and Whimsey.
