"We’ve stayed at the cabin with our dog four times and always enjoy our peaceful stay. It’s cozy, clean and private. Also, the Sherwood Shoppe - just down the road - is a wonderful place for breakfast, homemade chili and much more."

"My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Black Swan Inn. The hotel was very comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the dinner at the Indian restaurant was delicious! Being right on the lake made for a very relaxing time reading in the Adirondack chairs. We also very much enjoyed kayaking around the lake. We will be back!"

"Beautiful historic house in a great location. Responsive owner. Great visit!"

"wonderfully restored old mansion. Rooms were charming... nicely designed. In fact the entire facility has been thoughtfully brought into today's design standards. Very accomodating staff... although many appeared to be a training mode. Need to improve the professionalism a bit. They have a new general manager (had only been there about 2 weeks when we visited)... seems he has a number of things on his agenda that will improve the property even more. Food was good... but not wonderful. ...
