"Nice hotel in very convenient location in old inside the city wall in old Visby. Room and bathrooms nice in general, but 1) thermostat has only warmer and colder settings not a specific temperature and not heat or cool so in certain situations difficult to set what you want 2) bulb was missing in one bedside lamp which was never replaced although I had tilted the housing so that is was clearly visible to cleaning staff 3) wooden counters in bathroom which were/are damaged by water of course 4)...

"The hotel is in a great location. The only issue we had was with the location of the rooms and the stairs. They put us in an annex behind the main hotel, which was not a problem, but we had to go up very steeps stairs and there was no elevator. If you have any mobility issues (my mother uses a cane and had to navigate the stairs), it could be an issue. We did not let them know ahead of time that we had accessibility needs as I assumed there would be an elevator. But the rest was great."

"Visby is beautiful and Visby Börs is right in the centre of everything in a lovely building. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is nice too. I have stayed in both the main Hotell Visby Börs and one of the fancy century suites, the latter of which are more like apartments. I would recommend both, depending on the experience you're after. They are served by the same dining room, which is decorated lavishly in the style of the suites."
