"We needed a home base while visiting adult children in the PNW. The location is very accessible to highways. The beauty of this place is hard to describe. The lake and terraces leading away from this classic apartment building are stunning. Wonderful small touches made us feel welcomed. Nice shampoos and towels. A new sponge for doing dishes. A well equipped kitchen. And a comfy futon to lay down on in the evening to watch the playoffs. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"This house fit all 9 of us comfortably. The old house is a little creaky, but has lots of character. Having three bathrooms was a plus! It has absolutely everything. All the kitchen stuff you would need, lots a games and puzzles, a large deck and yard with lots of outdoor furniture and even a propane heater and fire table. We stayed there for my son's wedding at Thornewood Castle, and my whole family had a great time."

"Great location, though the neighbors window peers directly into the hot tub area, there is a little privacy screen you can draw around the tub. Theres TV, a firepit, and it stays very warm inside! Theres a lovely little neighborhood park you can walk to with a pond. The neighbors seem like they just want to be left alone, which means they leave you be, and thats why we came out here. The deer come right up to you all hours of the day!! The coffee bar is a lovely touch, and all things we needed...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is in the process of being developed into a wedding venue. There is a stunning view of Mt Rainier out the rear windows and deck. (I wish I could include some photos.) The bedrooms, living/dining areas, kitchen and basement family/game room were all very nice. "We had everything we needed and then some in this lovely home in Ashford. Had some struggles with the remotes and noted that one notification we had (from VRBO??) listed the address as 159 while the owner’s message reported 157. Loved the shower but found some of the knobs were reversed and I go about how to adjust the heat beyond 100 degrees would have been helpful. We would highly recommend this home for those visiting Mount Rainier national park"

"We enjoyed our time as a family in the roomy artistically pleasant home with all amenities necessary were available. The only complaint came from our adult children who slept in the secondary rooms. They said their beds were uncomfortable and they were unable to get a good nights sleep. We did not have that experience in The master bedroom.. We slept well.overall a very nice experience."

"It was a short stay, but it was easy check-in and check-out. The hosts were kind and supportive. The RV was spacious (including the bathroom), easy to get around in and had everything I could need. Though I did not have time to enjoy the porch or fire pit, it was right there, and the view is amazing. This place is a no brainer."
