My stay was lovely. In ordering a cheese plate to await my arrival, a friend alerted the staff that it was my birthday. When I entered my very handsome room, a gorgeous little chocolate bday cake, under domed glass, sat waiting for me. Otherwise, the staff was incredibly attentive, the speakeasy was fun for a delicious cocktail, and the overall atmosphere was one of restrained indulgence. The place doesn’t feel ostentatious. Its elegance was much more understated. I loved it

It was a nice resort. The room was comfortable and clean. I was very disappointed that the bar was closed. The pool and hot tub area was great. However, the hot tub jets spray erratically.
This should definitely be fixed. Also, I asked to check-out an hour later, and it was going to be another $25. We were there in off season and it wasnt busy. In all of our travels, we have always been able to extend our stay by and hour or two without paying. So, I was disappointed in that. However, I would stay again if the bar is opened.

My husband and I spent one night at The Whitney and were extremely pleased with our stay. The room was lovely and the staff were very nice and helpful. We would absolutely return and recommend it without hesitation.

Aug 12, 2019We did not make it to Camden. The traffic came to a stop outside the village limits. We turned around and went back to Belfast. We were told the road to Camden is always like this.
