Great Hotel, great people

Not to much to say about, it’s just a very nice hotel with very good service. They also have a nice pool! The only problem could be availability. If you do not book it in advance, you might not get a room.

Really bad service

The night my wife and I checked-in at the Hilton Miami Downtown, for some reason, the hotel had no water nor the certainty as to how long it would take to fix the problem. We had an eight-hour flight the next day, so we decided to take the hotel´s offer to move us to the Doubletree hotel nextdoor and make sure we would have a chance to shower before flying overseas. Although the hotel provided us with a solution, both the manager and the guest services operator on duty were extremely rude and made us feel like they were doing us a favor instead of providing us with a solution for the money we paid!

Very good hotel in MIami Downtown

Dears Sirs, This was the first time I’ve been in Miami alone and for shopping. I rentes a car with a GPS and all the travel was very good and easy to go to the places we planned. The hotel location is not the better but for our purpose it worked well. The city Miami is fantastic and very well planned, as in fact, are almost the american cities.

The Hilton is supposed to be a top hotel.

This is supposed to be a top hotel but they need to do better at meeting commitments. The room was not ready and I arrived at almost six pm. The check in time is 3:00 pm. The first room was a mess so they switched me to another room. The second room did not have enough towels and needed soap. They did give me a complimentary breakfast for the trouble.

We would definately go back ;D!!

We were thinking of flying out the day before our cruise (we usually don’t) so we can get a jump start on our vacation.We found a GREAT price at the Hilton downton Miami.We arrived early not a problem, we checked in and off to our room we went. All i can say is OMG...the view of the city from the 17th. fl.(out of 21)was BEAUTIFUL. We did some sight seeing got some lunch went back to the hotel to relax a little. In the evening we walked down to Bayside Market lots of store’s and restaurants.We decided to have dinner there we found a nice little cuban restaurant on the water front and listened to some nice spanish music.Once we were done we walked a little more and then took a taxi back to the hotel.The room was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. When we go back to Miami i will definately look into the Hilton.

Miami is beautiful. The only thing is stay on the side of the hotel don’t wonder around to much it can we a little scary. And don’t take the FREE omni it’s not worth it. Pay a couple of extra’s dollars and take a taxi or bus. Bayside is only 10-11 blocks from the hotel it’s a nice walk during the early eve. (daytime too hot)and like i said take a taxi back.

Be careful about cleaning and car park cost

There are 2 issues that I complain: 1.We stayed at Hilton-Miami for 5 nights. There was no card in the room to request from the house-keeping to change the bed linens. So we were assuming they are changing daily. But the last day they left the card and it was written that "bed linens are being changed after 4 days". It was a bad surprise at the last day of the visit. 2.If you have a car, you have 2 options: 1.Using car park by paying hourly, which is extremely expensive. 2.Using valet service $28/day. It was not a small amount for us considering 5-night stay.

Be aware withe the parking fee

I am a picky person; I’ve been there for one night and I really like this hotel, it has been renovated with beatifull renovated rooms and bathrooms, comfy beds, they just forget to renovate their old tvs othet than that you will not regret it. The only complain I do have is the parking fee wich is about 25$ a day if you make it yourself and 28$valet parking. I just dont get it.

My stay at Miami Downtown Hilton

While staying at Hilton Downtown Miami I could summarize this in just a few words. This is what enjoyment is all about. We were schedule to check at 3pm however we arrived at hours before upon our arrival we were greeted at the vehicle and that’s when the enjoyment began. I’ve never experienced anything like the treatment that I received and I would make sure that Hilton Miami is my first choice when visiting the Miami area. The treatment that I received in Miami Dwntwn Hilton reflects on the Hilton Hotels Nationwide. Kudos to Miami Downtown Hilton

Don’t bother spending your hard earned cash at the resturant. Food was cold and wait was long. Tip was automatically added so was a disappointment.

Excellent Hotel and Staff

This hotel was an excellent experience. It’s only 5 minutes from South Beach, the pool and bar was great. We had a junior suite room with a wonderful view facing the bay and bridge.

The Hotel was better than expected. The room was great, with an awesome view of Miami Bay.

We’ll do it again

We were in overnight for a next day cruise. But our flight into Miami was delayed and we call to let them know and all the arrangements were made. Our room was clean, the food was good and the personnel was nice to us.

Loved the Hotel

The staff were great, helped us get around without the use of a taxi; with the peoplemover just down the street.

Unless you like to spend alot for breakfast; eat across the street and Burger King.

Nice Hotel

Nice Hotel, However the service over the phone is just terrible! If there is a problem & you need to speak to a manager GOOD LUCK! If you forget something in your room & they ship it back to you make sure to ask how much they are going to charge you. I ended up paying 50.23 to get an item back. I found this out when I received my bank statement not because their staff informed me of it. Not at all happy about that!

Bayside, if you love to shop like I do then Dolphin Mall is about a half hour drive.

the best for the price

i have only been too miami twice and stayed at this hotel both times. it is very nice and the staff is wonderful. the rooms are a nice size and recommend upgrading to the bayview trust me its worth the extra $10.00. The only down size is you have to pay for parking. but this hotel is close to EVERYTHING!!!!!

Wow!

Our cruise was leaving from Miami and we needed a hotel for before and after the cruise and decided to try this hotel. What a pleasant surprise! Our room was exceptional (I was able to get a corner room with floor to ceiling windows on both sides), the view was outstanding and the room was very clean. The staff was very helpful in directing us to all the tourist spots. I have recommended this hotel to a friend who is having a family reunion cruise in July. Will definitely stay at this hotel next time we are in Miami.

Perfect Pre-cruise hotel

This is a terrific hotel to stay at if you’re going on a cruise out of the Port of Miami. It is located 5 minutes from the port, a few minutes walk/cab ride to Bayside Markets and a 10 minute cab ride/bus ride to South Beach. (The bus system in miami is very reasonable and very easy to use and the bus stop is only a few minutes walk from the hotel). The views from the rooms are either bayside or cityside and both are great--although if you’re leaving on a cruise, it’s especially nice to have a bayside room and see your cruise ship docked for your voyage. The hotel also has a beautiful outdoor pool. The staff was very gracious and the concierge was very helpful. The staff at the front desk wasn’t aware we had requested a roll away bed with our reservation but they called housekeeping when we checked in and the bed was waiting for us by the time we rode the elevator up to our room. The only negatives regarding this hotel: There is no free airport shuttle but this is the case with all downtown hotels we looked into. The cab ride is a flat rate of $24 and about $10 from the hotel to the port. Also, we arrived starving at around 3:00 and had a hard time getting a bite to eat at the hotel. The main restaurant was closed until dinner so we sat at the bar area where they have a food menu but it took quite awhile to get served there. All in all, the positives definitely outweighed the negatives and we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Loved our stay at the Hilton Miami Downtown

From first impression to check out, we couldn’t have been happier with out choice to stay at the Hilton in downtown Miami. Website promised beautiful remodeling...and it didn’t disappoint. For a great price in a location 6 miles away from the airport and 6 from Miami beach, our group of 7 stayed in two rooms with beautiful views of the bay. Hotel staff was warm, welcome, and friendly...accomodating our every need from fresh linens to extra creamers for our coffee. Outdoor pool was well maintained and one of the largest (and deepest at 8 feet) hotel pools I’ve seen. Great hotel for a family or couple. The ONLY downfall was it’s location. Seemed we were on the edge of good/bad part of downtown. The restaurant across the street had no loitering signs locks on bathrooms (and rude employees), while two blocks away there was a Bently dealership. Also, parking would have been over $20 a night...I suggest you take the taxis like we did!! All in all, would DEFINITELY go back...although I would still like to experience a beach-front hotel...
