Feels like home
I have been very impressed with my stays at the Hyatt Place hotels. I first stayed at a Chicago location and was very impressed with the comfort and value. I knew that I would stay with Hyatt again and have used the Auburn Hills location on two occasions. A great experience!

Very nice hotel
Very comfortable beds and big flat screen tv a plus. The business desk and extra square footage was great. The staff was wonderful. Only down side is a very loud bathroom fan and loud air conditioner - enough to wake you up at night when it kicked on.

The room was beautiful. Nice TV and hair dryer too! Soap smells great and you get shampoo and conditioner... not just a conditioning shampoo. Love this place!

We went to a show at the Palace. Shuttle for $5 that takes you to a bar with pretty good food, then the Palace and back to your hotel or the bar. Very convenient...

Excellent Choice
We visited the area to check on a rental property and visit friends. This hotel is almost like a boutique hotel. The rooms are mini suites. The decor is modern and inviting. I heartily recommend the hotel and will search out this chain in the future.

Just north of Square Lake Rd on Telegraph Rd is a strip mall that contains the best TJ Maxx on the planet...call it TJ Sak’s and you’ll get the picture.

Will go back!
I got to the hotel way early (11 am)and the desk ladies went out of their way to get me to a room. Within an hour I had a room. Big screen TV, fridge, sitting room, all in all a very nice room. We asked for help finding a place for dinner and the lady was very helpful and directed us to a great place to eat and we got 10% off our meal for staying at the Hyatt.

If you’re going to a concert or ballgame at the Palace this is the place to stay! Only a couple miles away and an easy drive.

Great Service / Great Amenities
My son and I enjoyed a great weekend with wonderful front desk service, a quality continental breakfast, and clean and comfortable room. The HD big screen was a hit for my son.

5 ’easy’ minutes from the Palace of Auburn (Pistons). Good entry to highways and plenty of shopping in the nearby area.

Very nice suite...
We had a wonderful stay here. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and went out of their way several times. We asked for a local Catholic church and they later called our room with the name of a church for us, and directions, too! We needed nothing - everything was provided. A very, very clean room! Snack bar open all nite if I remember correctly.

The hotel recommended a nice, family-owned Italian restaurant just north - was wonderful!! Can’t remember the name though. We had dinner also at the Palace at Auburn Hills - The Palace Grill - which is upscale and served very, very good food.

Can’t wait to stay again!
The hotel staff were very outgoing upon arrival and checkout. Breakfast was ok. The bed and pillows were the most impressive, very comfy! Will stay again when we visit the area.

First time at a Hyat Place and really liked it.
My friend and I who both spent the better part of 20 years traveling on business and staying in our share of suburban hotels, loaded with bags of adapters and cables to be able to get online, listen to music, watch a video, patch into the stereo, etc. and wanting something to snack on at 3 a.m. just kept asking ourselves where was this hotel when we were traveling.

Very nice room.
Room had bed, and small living-roomish area with a small divider that made it seem like 2 rooms. Spacious and clean. Pillows were very soft. I had a dream about the pillow while I slept there.There was a workdesk with internet available, plus a fridge.

Great hotel
This hotel was very nice. Not too much going on in the area though, but I’m from the city- so as far as suburban living goes- it was very nice, close to the interstate for quick travels all around. HUGE room and great flat screen tv.

The somerset Mall is very close, and you can visit one of my favorite shops- LUSH cosmetics across from the food court. Fabulous! Happy Michiganing?

great hotel
great hotel, service as soon as we walked in... big room, very nice.. only issue was it smelled like smoke.... whom ever stayed before us must have been smoking in a NON smoking room...

Extremely comfortable hotel
The hotel was fantastic. The room was very spacious, immaculately clean, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I had ever slept in. The only complaint I would have is that the shower fan was really loud and the light in the shower was dim (it was a 2 in 1 fan/light). The continental breakfast was fantastic. The staff was extremely courteous. If I am ever near Detroit again, I am totally staying there!

The Great Lakes Crossings outlet mall is only about 5 miles away and there is some great shopping there.

Great option for business travelers!
Nice hotel and service. Original and quick way to check in. Functional room distribution, very clean (as new), good options on TV, nice coffee, fast and easy to sign up Internet connection and fair fees. Way to go! Definitively my option when I go back to Auburn Hills, MI.

Great room & TV
The room was exceptional: spacious, modern, spotless, and the 50" HD plasma was viewable from all three beds,...the movies were a little too pricey @ $12., but 24hr rental and HD made them very nice to view. The draw-backs were the poorly heated pool, very cold...and NO HOT TUB! (bummer) The exercise room was also a little small.

Like being in your own condo
This hotel was an excellent choice for the price. It was spacious and comfortable. I would definately stay again. The only thing I wish they had was a microwave.

Great room for the price!
Went to DTE Energy music center for a concert. We were pleasently surprised when we arrived to our hotel 4 hours prior to the show. In our room, we had a huge sectional couch in front of a mounted big screen plasma with many HD channels to choose from. The staff also arranged for transportation for eight of us, to and from the show. We have stayed in a few different hotels in the same area and none compare for the price. Thanks Expedia.

Outstanding
Stayed for pleasure, two adults and two kids. Room was perfect for that--large, with two double beds and a slight separation to a "living" area with a queen sofa bed. Large flat screen TV (with HD) situated in the middle of the room so everyone can watch, or could be tilted to one side of the room. Very clean and modern, with a small refrigerator in the room as well. Complimentary breakfast was nice, too. Would definitely stay here again and I totally rrecommend it.

Upscale environment with inexpensive price
This hotel was outstanding. It is much better than the comparable hotels. Everything is well thought out to give it an upscale and confortable atmosphere. This hotel is stylish and rooms are modern and very stylish and confortable. I will look for this Brand in the future.

The title says it all. Great place to stay when seeing a concert or game at The Palace.
