“Cabin in the woods....what more could you ask. It was quiet and in a beautiful setting. Food in the restaurant was standard bar food but it was hot and tasty. Bar staff was courteous and efficient, even when tasked with a rowdy party of about 20 people. They were loud but respectful and the staff took it in stride. Only spent one night in our travels through the area but would stay again.”

“They downgraded my room from a king to a double because they were overbooked and had no king rooms left. I was there to enjoy a getaway as a couple; however, I was forced to take the double room and could not sleep in one bed with my partner. On top of that, during checkout, they told us they would provide a $40 refund for the inconvenience, but I have received nothing, and it has been two weeks since I sent them a reminder email regarding the status of the refund.”

“DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PLACE!
I arrived at night in the pouring rain after a long day of driving. The office was locked, with a note on the door saying to call this number. When I called and asked to check in, I was told they had no rooms because of a “water problem”, despite the room already being booked and paid for in advance. I was left stranded with nowhere to stay, and the guy could not have cared less. I said, “You couldn’t have called people to give them a heads up so they could make other……
