"Ive been here before and generally like this hotel very much. The breakfast is very good with nice healthy additions to sprinkle onto your oatmeal, ie pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes, variety of dried fruits. The inside is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. The first room I was assigned to had problem with front door getting stuck, the bathroom handle was practically falling off and the fridge didn’t keep cool. I almost got stuck in the bathroom and main room. Called front desk and maintenance was called. Guy came up and repaired bathroom but couldn’t do front door. When he pushed down on handle, it opened. When I tried the deadbolt stayed stuck and wouldn’t fully retract. It was decided to just change rooms, and the nice maintenance guy helped me move my things. The front desk did credit me with extra Bonvoy points for my stay due to the inconvenience. The second room was much better. Of note, the carpet wasn’t too clean looking but after two days housekeeping stopped by and vacuumed it along with cleaning rest of the room. The workout room was well lit, stocked with items and clean. The pool area was also clean. They are doing some work in front to add patio and seating as this is the one thing lacking. Overall, this is a good hotel, with comfortable rooms and beds, a very good breakfast and reasonably priced."

"My husband and I stayed at Hyatt Place for our 10th anniversary trip and it was the perfect home base for a Braves game experience…Truist Park is a 10-15 minute walk away!! Our flight landed around 10 PM, so check-in was late — but we were greeted with such genuine warmth by Maurice (sup Maurice 👋), who got us checked in quick + suggested a “we made it” drink at the hotel bar. the bar is on the smaller side, but we had multiple beverages and great conversation. Maurice was bartending and running the front desk simultaneously & with ease. His hospitality set the tone for our whole stay. Breakfast was your standard hotel spread, nothing extraordinary — but included with the stay, and being on the first floor made going back for seconds toooooo easy. Throughout our stay, the staff was consistently attentive and genuinely willing to help. We were placed in an accessible room (unrequested). It was clean, comfortable, king bed + living area. My husband is a project manager and had notes on the bathroom caulking — but honestly, who’s inspecting caulk on vacation? 😄 The Hyatt Place is perfect for a Braves game, walkable, welcoming, no stress. If ya looking to stay near The Battery, this is the spot."

"We had to change our rooms 3 times due to cleaning issues, however the front desk and staff were extremely kind to me and accommodating to every concern. Once we got our room situated, it was an amazing stay. Due to the staff, I would go back for sure. However, the cleaning crew should definitely do a better job, for be guests."
